At the following time, we performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

* This update consists of a version upgrade of the client program. When you press the play button after the time stated below, the version upgrade will begin automatically. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

Pankration is the meat of the update, they don't normally do what you're thinking of for fixes, which the majority of this update is minus Pankration, which is why it got its own summary. Everything else is fixes from the last big version update.

Behemoth doesnt cast Meteor. Only King and Kaiser Behemoth :P

Does any one know if you can recharge your soul trapper or something?

He can put it if it's in the monster's family. But what lvl the monster needs to cast it? That, idk...

A captured soul plate isn't rare or ex, so I can see a very active market spring up between Pankration "trainers" and "photographers"

Square Enix: In the next update, players will be able to trade soul plates from members of other servers using a device in Pankration Centers. This is to allow you to access unique monster abilities only available on certain servers. These trading between different "versions" will be necessary for those wanting to catch 'em all!
