So wtf do you need chocobos in the past anyway ? I only saw them in cities too.. I had hope for chocobo-digging ... Maybe it will be for that event where they showed a black chocobo followed by dhalmels or something like that.

Prolly for, like, moving around faster? To get to different places w/o worrying about aggro? Stuff like that I'm guessing.

Oh really why didn't I think about this. Care to be more specific ? why would you use the windurstian chocobo ? Campaign ? obviously not. XP ? wut people do xp in campaign. Farming ? Assuming you found a decent place to farm, you can be warped there through campaign teleport system instaneously or almost. Chocobo would only be fast for something happening around windy really. The only thing I could think of would be supply mission in sarutabaruta. But even that, teleportation could be faster..

i think they're doing more than just bard "magic" but all forms of enhancing since you can spam barspells and whatnot as a whm,rdm,etc.

even though it's not direct doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered since SE does like to hide us stuff to uncover later on

Hunting for Sandworm and Ixion will be a lot easier with Chocobos because you can move around without worrying about aggro and you can get to them faster once you locate them(If they are in your zone).

Yea, but your bird time will run out before the window does. If the npc's are only located at cities, you'd only have a short time with it as you wouldn't be able to refresh often.

***NEWS*** I actually agree with Pchan. With the warping system in place, the ONLY significant advantage is not having to wait until a battle in a home city is over to warp, but that would only be advantageous if going somewhere close to your home city.

And with the addition of the chocobos, we're going to be able to warp during a campaign battle since the NPCs are going to stay put. Chocobos are probably only going to help when I accidentally set my HP in sandy and I have to run to the e.ronf maw to get back to present-time sandy...

yeah chocobo npcs are only at the cities as it is so unless your going to choco from windy/sandy/bastok all the way to the jeuno areas it's not really faster for anything besides traveling gustaberg ronfaure and sarutabaruta quickly

Pro tip for QUICK seal cash: kraken club BC60 is guarranted 50-60k gil by NPCing shit (with gil that comes in the chest=20k). For kindred seals do ODS with 3people instead of 6 ( easier to gather 3 than 6). Same deal here, drops sell good to NPC lol. It's not awsome money, and not the smartest way to use them, but it's fast and decent.

This is exactly what I did with my seals before quitting for a while. Though I still have some left I need to finish up now that I'm back in the game again.

I don't know why most of you don't use them almost immediately. The longer you keep them, the less value the drops have so I would unload them as quick as possible. I do personally have a bunch, but then again, I try to use them when I get the chance.
