Ok so at this time like all of quetz knows about my mistake in a t4 ZNM, while trying to disengage i accidentally hit call for help. Everyone was like "wtf", but the problem was solved when i died and the mob returned back to normal and everyone got their drops anyway. But apparently, some D-bag decides, "Hey, this guy made one mistake that we just fixed, so i'm gonna tell the whole world about it! Yeah, that'll make me seem much cooler to the public!"

I even had all the mages yelling at me saying that there is no call for help button next to the disengage and giving me an earful about it, just to find out that they were wrong. Seriously? I make one mistake and you jump on it like it's a million dollars in a briefcase, stop trying to feel better about yourselves A-holes. Whoever told the entire world needs to talk to me about it like a man, stop being a little puss, i know you're out there, man up.
 
It is next to disengage, all you have to do is accidentally hit right and then you are on call for help. I dont care who it was with you, they arent as badass as they are trying to make themselves seem to you. It happens, Ive done it on Tiamat a long ass time ago.

So you called for help, it happens. But, you've got to realize that when that happens, people have a good laugh about it. You can either laugh too or get upset I suppose.
 
You just made it more public, because I had no idea about it either. It would have been np to me too though, since it worked out in the end.
 
I actually only want to expose the person who told everyone, could'nt do that without telling you the story.
 
You're not exposing anybody by not naming names, so at this point you're only kinda perpetuating the joke about you calling for help on a T4 ZNM.
 
He makes it seem like they were giving him a unnecessary hard time about it, if thats the case then its definitely not deserved.

i have to agree with this here. my zeni shell specializes in this.
 
Shadoboy CFH'd on a ZNM lololol now he'll never get in any of my parties where we use drugs!
 
Seriously shado, only TAoW (and my Nyzul static) knew about this mistake. It wasn't perpetuated outside of TAoW until YOU decided to post on the Flameboard. yeah, mistakes happen, CFH'ing has happened to the best of us as well. At least the problem got fixed and people got their drops? You seem to forget about Stouter, who along with another member of that ZNM shell, pretty much zombied Tyger in order to keep him from depopping. Sure, its only EXP thats lost, but thats EXP that he will have to work on while he could be doing something else.

In the end, yeah its a simple mistake, and its happened to a lot of people, but dont brush it off as some light-hearted mistake, THAT is what pisses off most people.

P.S. Just so ya know, I heard this from Darsha and Muertos.
P.P.S. Most of TAoW members agree it was a simple mistake.
 
I can't speak for Shadoboy but I know I would feel like an ass as soon as I realize what I had done, accidently. That doesn't justify crapping all over someone if that is indeed what happened.

But from the way it's described he had a number of people shitting bricks all over him for it. That's not going to change it and it's probably safe to say he/she would be more careful in the future if he/she DID feel like an ass after doing so.

Shadoboy, you did bring the spotlight on yourself here. There weren't any posts made, suppose it was local knowledge.

I agree, Shado is a dumbass, but I doubt he'd do this on purpose (dont go proving me wrong punk). People crapping on him probably were just overreacting due to the amount of work required to farm zeni and kill the other NMs and such, which is a natural, human thing to do. Hell, I didnt know CFH was next to Disengage in the menu either till a few days ago when I almost did the same on a mob i was farming for zeni LOL. I'm sure Shado felt bad over the screw up, but nobody made it as big of a deal out in public as he is making it out to be either.
 
Seemed to me like everyone knew about it, and wait... how did TAoW know about this?

Its because people were shouting about it in Whitegate last night, and the one who called Shadow out was Gambini, a knock off of the fuckin annoying Casino dude.

If it wasn't on purpose and everyone still got there drops, who gives a shit.
