Server change question

I have a question on that server Migration, if, and when it happens how does it work? Are people that sign up thrown into random servers, or just the "new" server? Answers from those who left the server and came back would be nice.
 
Well when SE launched the PS2 version they had the 2 serves I believe and asked or had some message where people that wanted to go to another server signed up. Then I believe at the end of that month or week signing up period people would then Randomly be put into a "NEW" server. So yeah those that signed up where merged into new servers, but then again I am not sure I stayed in mine :lol: .

no.. I think they had that members from half the existing servers went to one server and the other half went to another. So I think anyone migrating from Quetzalcotl with other Quetzy people all wound up with the same server... I think... hmm
 
migrations only happen when a new server is made. All people who leave this server will end up on the same server.
 
You can talk to a Gm and have his send you to another server at any point. They can do that.

I think like $75 lol That's just a rumour I heard, so don't quote me :roll:
 
Someone said it was like $75.00 for a server change, but I haven't actually asked a GM how much it is.
 
uhh no that is incorrect a gm can not send u to another server.

trust me i asked they said u have to get a world pass to that server and start a new charecter.
 
You cant change servers, unless S-E is offering a server migration. But you cant just change to any server. I know this because my friend called up PoL and found out for himself.

No. They can't. I hada nice lengthy discussion with both GM and the POL staff by phone according to them there is absolutely no way to swap servers besides a worldpass and a lvl 1 character.

..if you wish to go to a new server and say.. they open up 3 new servers.. you have the option of getting an item sort of like a link pearl.. you hand those out to ppl you want to travel with.. and everyone with that pearl all ends up on the same server together..

there r new servers? and we can switch to them without goin back to lvl1?
sry but i havent been on the game for a while, so if u can tell me whats goin on that'd be great.
