When attempting to sign on after recent update you may get:
Error Code: POL-0006
This, my friends, is because there are too many people at once trying
unsuccessfully to sign on and download the update. Congest means
To overfill or overcrowd. So before you go freaking out on the flameboard and crying about how you need your FFXI fix. Get a dictionary and find out what's really going on. :lol:
 
I will be playing Battlefield 2 today I think if its gonna be a pain in the ass to log in.
 
And people were upset the update took place during NA primetime? :lol: JP missed their prime time too with these update problems. Everytime there is an update, just write off the day of the update and next 1-2 days. The specific time doesn't matter, everyone gets hit with it.
 
Don't be silly, the JP players have special update servers that also administer them handjobs and make pitchers of lemonade for them while they wait. :lol:

:idea: Yes, people are making a huge deal out of it like the world is ending. Hey, I love ffxi too....but come on...I can live 2 days without it.
Is it an inconvenience? Yes.
Should they try to fix the congestion problem? Yes.
But there is nothing that I can do about it. If you have something up your sleeve....any of you?.....some solution to fix these problems SE has burdened us with to make our lives a living hell while we eagerly anticipate the new updates for the game? i mean, come on. If you are getting stressed out cause you cannot sign on then you really should see a therapist. The game will be up and runningn as soon as EVERYONE BACKS THE FUCK OFF OF IT!!
 
I've been playing BF2 tody myself but trying to download the update during map changes. It's quite obvious SE needs dedicated update servers or they need to keep the game down for 1 day to allow everyone that time to update from the main servers.
