Servers Up?

Still cant... everytime its about to connect it just times out and gives me option to cancel and Retry
 
I'm in pol ok, but whenever I try to load ffxi from pol, screen changes and then jumps back to pol instantly. This is without windower. I did have to update. Strange.
 
Updated, started playing, muled a few times, went to mule one last time and poof. FFXI stopped responding and POL won't connect anymore. The maintenance already conflicted with a scheduled BCNM, so we were all rushing to get it in tonight still.... looks like i'm screwed out of another run.
 
I got in at 8.55pm EST, was less than 100 people on heh.. just logged to my mule now to buy cookies for the halloween event (fruit does not work this year) and it booted me. POL0011 errors now ._.

Don't log to a mule right now if you get on lol
 
I got in for like twenty minutes, muling and when I was finished, as soon as I tried to get onto my main I couldn't connect to the main lobby or whatever :cry:

How can such a large company not understand the concept of high availability? Good thing I don't bank at PlayOnline Credit Union.
 
I just got on and got an error message "The server may be experiencing problems" lol pol sucks
 
To answer your question - are the servers ever 'up?' usually they are in a state of semi-consciousness 24/7
 
I bet pol is a company that bounces their payroll checks
