Settings reset after update.

I was just wondering if this had happened to anybody else, when I signed back in to FFXI after the emergancy update today, my settings (Chat filter, and such) were 100% reset to factory settings.

Also, ONE of my macro sets had been wiped. Only one.

Macros are saved client-side, so I don't think there's much to worry about there.
 
well, absolutely none of my friend list works. shows everyone being offline. and i did check to see if some of them were online.

That's what I thought, I still don't understand why one of my sets got wiped after the update. Just one!
 
Did you log out properly?

If you got kicked off, your settings do not get saved. Like if you made some macros, and your ISP goes down and you drop from game, your macros are not saved.
 
my friends list wasnt working last night, before the update. I wouldnt get my panties in a bunch about stuff like that, they'll pick it up..

macros being erased stinks though, sorry :(
 
I have nothing intellignet or worthwhile to add to this post.
But that's never stopped anyone else, so I decided to try this for once, lol
