I saw this warning on Allakhazam's Quetzalcoatl Forum:

I god damn hope SE wakes up and starts doing soemthing. Its not hard to change things. Maybe a few more JP acounts should be hacked till something happens <.<

Unfortunate as it sounds, I think that may work. I've seen a couple of videos about JP GMs on FFXI and they were very fast and effective... unlike our English speaking GMs.

Seriously though I hope this person can get they're character back and on they right server =(

This bullshit has to stop!
 
Wasn't there some information floating around a couple of years ago that SE outsources their GM contract to SOE-USA? If this is the case, I'm not surprised with the way things are being handled. Also, I'm sure SE outsources their Japanese GM services to a customer service center in Japan, which would explain the dramatic difference in the level of service. If SE does outsource their customer service, people need to go after that company too.

Hi guys, setzor here, thanks for posting that info. Because I'm in the process of trying to recovering my account, i take back the idea of getting him banned. If yall could do me a favor and take screenshots of Setzor on your server, I'm interested in seeing what the RMT's have him wearing.
 
{Found it!} sorry to say that said character/account did make it here to Quetz. This stuff is really out of hand, hopefully the petitions and such will get SE to find treatment for their "head in ass syndrome"

Saw the little Taru in Zi'tah as he checked me. Made me sad when I thought of the widow back on Ifrit. Wish SE would get off its ass and start working on this. Screw banning the rmt for the month like they posted, get our accounts back for a Holiday miracle instead.

I wouldn't be surprised if their logic was "Well, we're still getting money from character Xxx."

I'm really disappointed in SE, to the point where I personally won't buy any more FF games. I'm going to keep playing FFXI, because it's like crack, but once FFXI is offline, lucky me, I've got X-2 to play over and over.

The sad fact is if you play any other SE game besides FFXI, they seem like gods to you. Only in FFXI do they disappoint.

They only disappoint in this game because this is the only game that I've ever played where I've interacted with anyone. This is the only game where other people actually matter, and I don't mean that negatively. A

If someone's going to come to my house and steal my copy of X-2 and my memory card, I don't think I would throw a shit fit, because although I've yet to get 100% in that game, I can dedicate 15 minutes a day trying to get to 100%. FFXI demands a lot of time.

My point was the company still rox my sox with the other games, so I ain't boycotting D:
 
This is getting ridiculous. The fact that SE isn't taking any counter-measures when players find their hi-jacked characters on different servers, is amazing. The frequency of these threads coming up on BG and even here on QCDN and Alla's is pretty startling.

Think we should make a seperate section for Warning/Stolen Accounts? Just an idea, I think something like this needs specific focus and not just lumped in. Meh, could just be me.
 
The sad thing is, at this point SE won'y do much for Setzor. I'm betting that they'll accuse him of selling his account to RMT's. Do I hear class action lawsuit?
 
And the dipshit didn't even make an effort to change his name before moving here...
