Now that I have your undivided attention I would like to point out the old and simple rules under which QCDN is run. One of these rules is:
- add your in-game main character name to your signature
How you do it doesn't really matter all that much, plain text, embedded in a sig gfx, whatever, just do it.
The rationale is that your QCDN user name can be different from your in-game name, and there are so many players around that not everyone can possibly know everyone else. In addition the QCDN, and especially the Flameboard, doesn't support anonymous posting.
I am getting a bit tired of sending people PMs about this.
It's an easy thing to do, it requires 60 seconds of your attention. It's a matter of respect as well, by not having an indication of your in-game character name you are basically saying either, "I can't be bothered to read the rules!", or "I can't be bothered to follow the rules!", or both.
I realize that many of the QCDN regulars know who is who without the need for a sig, however, QCDN receives approximately 7,000 unique visitors a month, many of which are unable to associate your QCDN name with an in-game character name unless the simple rules are followed.
