Saw this guy while trying to do a quest, tried to solo, got AOEd for over 800. XD

Saw this thingy (again), attempted to solo, mostly failed, friend arrived to help so gilsellers couldng et, wound up 1/3 ^^

Odd story...camped Argus out of total boredom, eventually picked up LK on widescan (0/1). Next day was father's day, bf (Klank) told me to just afk there (had a family BBQ)...I returned to find a PCA in my inventory...he'd gotten Argus, went 1/1, then QMed me. I really can't form how I felt from that into words... =/ (god I wish I could fraps the PCA or something, but I cannot. Hoping to get a screenie of Klank fighting Argus but he won't send me the pic he has ;.; )

Duoing Madkix with Lanien (lolwhmtank), unfortunately this and the other time we killed it didn't drop for him =/

Soloing Praefectus, 0/3. ><

Woulda had a few more shots but folder got full ;-; Hoping to get Lan his Acha still, even though he'll probably just stick to Woodville now (But Acha is still good for offhand...so I'll probably drag him there against his will until he gets one to clog his inventory XD)

Not seen a Dusk Jerkin in well over a year, myself =P shame it's such crap, you'd think it'd be equal to or better than Assault at least, y'know? Oh well, I went for it for the look, and I solo on BST so no one can complain if I XP in it :nyam:

STR/DEX mods > decent att boost. =P But that's just me.

lol I hate Chary right now. Maybe when I am 75 and get a couple merits into sword. And +18 attack is more than a decent boost lol It also has +5 accuracy as well.

For DoT, Att > STR hands down... and for a 5 hit WS it's debatable.

Dusk Jerkin IIRC is 2hp/tick just like my Corazza so it isn't that bad.

Think it really does depend on the mob. On BST, where I tend to solo EM-low VT, I tend to get a better kick out of 2str than 18att since it's all -- now anyways. =P But I totally get what you mean.


And Misty, it's not -pure- novelty, but yeh, it is pricy. But then, so is Ceremonial Dress, and Dusk is 50x more useful.

Last thing I'll say on this thread is that "Low Defense" triggers very close to a 1.0 ratio of PDIF, and against mobs that are higher level than you, it lies (PDIF gets weighted against lower level attackers).

Somehow I don't think 2 Str is something I would take over 18Attack and 5 Acc. If that's how you play, I've got a pair of courage rings I need to sell if you're interested.

Dunno where the "2str" originally came from actually, the difference is 4str and 1dmg vs 18att 3acc (...5acc?) =P
