Please do not buy it for 10k or its gonna stay there for ever.This is bullshit.
 
It's been to 10k before.
But I agree, don't buy it if you don't have to.
Less of a market for it at 10k is better...Well, for those of us not crafting it ourselves.

Reason: Gigant Squid are a pain in the ass to fish up now. And Neb fishing on the Ferry has been nerfed by this, and the fact you can catch mobs everywhere on the boat. As such, Ink costs more, and when Ink costs more, Shihei costs more.

You can blame most of this on Cone Calamary, the fish that bites just about everything Nebs and Squid bite.

True cause parchment price is stable cause of readily, fucking ink.

Few more lvls sneaks and you can hq the nebs into ink.

why not? what if the crafter is a blm and needs to get an extra quick 200k because some assholes jacked elemental torque up 200k? it's their own way of dealing with price jacking on equipment they need. i hope they think of that next time some ninja puts an elemental torque up for 1.2 mil... some crafters could double shehei to afford it....
 
Traveled to Sanny-d today so I could get it for 8k. I was not paying more then that for this. Price gouging is in these days.

To be honest, I should just level woodworking seeing as I play Thief, Ranger, and Ninja... >_<

Um... sorry, but what you're saying is dumb. I can understand some inflation if materials are harder to get or cost more. But don't you think some ninja (not me cuz I'm too nice) would sell that elemental torque or w/e for 200k extra to cover some of his shihei costs? You forget it works both ways.

Not only that, but when one of us (out of desperation) has to pay 10k for a stack of shihei it makes other sellers brave enough to sell theirs for 9k and 10k instead of a decent price.

And you only have to buy an elemental torque once. Our equipment is hella-expensive too. And on top of that you want us to think its ok to gouge us on our consumables? I'm sorry but it doesn't cost mages gil to use MP. And unlike certain equip which may or may not be deemed uber, we cannot just decide to slack on buying shihei.

And because we buy shihei we're also getting good xp for our PTs which is what gets use out of that shiny elemental torque in the first place. Why make it harder for us to PT? That's 100k for only 10 stacks!! Do you get that? That's not optional! Hell, if I was playing more often I'd be really pissed off.

So here's an idea... if, hypothetically, this blm is short 200k then FARM for it. Don't pass it on to other players if you can help it because it will only add to all the high prices. It's called being lazy and greedy. And especially don't force it on non-optional consumable items.
