Shit I don't understand

I guess I won't come out with an all out flame on this, I'll try to be a little bit open minded here.

Here's my gripe;

How come 1/3 sigs I see has pics of the player wearing shit they can't wear, using weapons all of 4 japanese people on all servers actually have, doing some awesome move that doesn't exist, and being all super cool in the awesome shit that is completely unattainable for them at the present time? Is there somehting I'm missing? Once, just once I would like to see a sig where a 48 drk isn't wearing fucking adaman, but is just hanging out in his brigandine, with his flag up, trying to make some pies or a wood table or some low level crap.

I'd like to know if there's something I'm missing.

Who wants to look at something that everybody else has? Whats so cool about that? Thats why the put the best armour and weapons in their sig, to look cool.

Well actually i think it has more to do with that people like to show themselves with things they cannot get yet or do not have. Also quite a bit of the normal gear is seen more than once just with a different name between low and high levels. The AF gear and crap like that just looks cooler, and is rarely seen. Thus everyone likes to depict themselves with it if they dont already have it. As you can see by my sig, i just thought all the gear made me look pretty damn cool....cept that ugly thief hat which i took out

Dude, Raivyn, I was thinking just the same thing the other day. I figured there were to many people with all these exaggerated sigs so if i brought the arguement up there'd be to many against and thought "Fuck it I won't even bother.". But seriously the sigs with the crazy shit kind of push it a bit once you see a Dark knight with a Balmung and full Armada doing fuckin Tachi: Gekko then see he's like a level 2 Drk, then again, I suppose it's not bad having an imagination.

I kinda wondered that too, but never enough to make a thread about it. I always just use pics I take in-game for mine, or just use a model viewer with my current equipment on it. *shrugs* To each his/her own though.
