why are there so many bad topics in the general discussion?

There are a lot of people know how to deliver good solid content.
When they make a PB&J sandwich, they make it with bread....And that's it. You know, content. Like Peregrine. Listen to him. He's a real fart smeller, that guy. FULL of real gritty, usable CONTENT.

Eh, you ask a question, people have different answers, debate ensues. Somtimes some random person may have a personal grudge or somthing and take it too far, but that doesnt mean the whole thread has turned into a flame. Thats just the very nature of discussion.

I assume you are refering to your own topic about dual wielding. That was hardly turned into a flame, just 4 posts or so with pretty weak flame material that didn't really derail the topic for long.
