Sick, need some information

I have been sick since about 4PM yesterday, and it has been getting worse. I would be walking outside and my lungs would collapseq and make it really hard to breath, while that happens i would not stop shaking. Then later that night i had a temperature of 102, and i would be sweating my ass off. Then this morning i was coughing up blood and black specs. What do i have? Is it just a bad cold? Please give me some info guys if you can.

Edit: I have also not eaten anything in the past 24 hours. For some reason i have no appitite. I would try and get down food but i was not able to swallow it because of my throat being to rough and tight.

Aye, if you're coughing up blood, get yourself to a hospital as soon as possible.
 
Good news >_> if your lungs collapsed you'd be dead by now, so no, your lungs are most likely intact.

Bad news. Blood from lungs = bad.

Go to the hospital, immediately. Do not drive yourself. Call a friend. Now. Stop reading. Go. Now.
 
More than likely the blood is not from your lungs, but rather from a sore trachea. If you've been coughing a hell of a lot, it dries out the cell walls in both the trachea and the esophagus, which can explain why you can't get food down.

As others have mentioned, go see a doctor as soon as you possibly can, but don't panic and think something is exponentially worse than it is. Have the mindset that yes, something is wrong, but until you find out what, not worth panicking over. Make sure you're completely honest about your symptoms.

That doesn't mean delay going to a doctor, but it does mean don't head over there in a panic. More than likely you have a bad case of strep, with the unlikely addition of the rhino virus. Get it checked out before you get someone else sick.

sounded like asthma when I read the having trouble breathing part but it seems like a series of things wrong hence temperature and stuff, but hope you're heading to the hospital now...
 
Sounds like strep throat or something of that ilk. Go to the Doctor.
 
Got back from the doctor. The blood is coming from my nose, i had a nose bleed apparently and that is what caused it. They gave me Bromphen. I also can't take Nyquill/dayquill because of the medication i am currently on.
 
If Peregrine were here, he would diagnose you, then tell you to get your ass to the doctor.
 
Haha, or I can post like 30 seconds after you =P. Good to know you're not dying.

I'd love to see the look on the Doc's face when I replied to his question (and what did they say?) with "my buddy from across town told me to go to the goddamn hospital".

Nothing wrong with asking for advice, but I think the general assumption should probably be that if you're bleeding from any of your orifices, contacting your doctor first is a good idea.

Glad to hear that you're ok Kelyon and that it wasn't anything serious. Sounded kinda scary.
 
I certainly hope you're not the one Driving/vomiting/typing at the same time. >.>

My sarcastic comment was kind of aimed at that, it's just that you said it better then I did. For general health questions, there isn't anything wrong with asking for advice. But if you're coughing up blood, I'd hope that you'd get medical attention first. I'm just giving Kelyon a hard time because he broke my heart.
