Ok, so the sig I have now was me messing around with photoshop, but isnt the one i want to keep. I have a better design I'm working on but am stuck when it comes to isolating my characters from their snapshot from model viewer. Basically whats the best way to isolate an object in a picture and move that onto another picture in photoshop?

The easiest way is to set up your model in Modelviewer the way you want it. Then click once in the background color and hit F11. That saves an image in your modelviewer screenshot folder.

Then open that file up in Photoshop. Duplicate the layer so you have 2 identical layers. Click the eyeball next to the bottom layer so it makes it invisible. Click on the top layer to make it active. Select your magic wand tool, and click on the background color. This will select the entire background and not your character. Press delete to erase the selection. Then press Crtl-D to deselect the background.

Now you have a layer with just your character on it, and no background. Drag this layer onto your working sig file. Transform it however you want it.

I hope this helps ^^

Thanks Mortanis helped alot. New one up, my second sig ive ever made >.<

Mortanis, that helped me too. I didn't do that invis thing, I just used the magic want, also. For you Mortanis, Umm...how did you get your sig to make your char. move? That thing is sweet. Fill me in?

Hahaha thanks man.

I used a program called Adobe After Effects. It's used mainly for making motion graphics for film, television, and web.

It's a little complex to explain all the steps, but to sum up all I did was make screenshots of each individual frame of my characters battle ready motion, imported them all into After Effects, and made a composition of the motion. I made the rain in Photoshop, and brought all those frames into After Effects too. Then composited them all together onto 1 composition with the background and added the text last. Then saved it out as a .gif.

If you are interested in doing one yourself, I suggest getting Photoshop and After Effects. There's a handy little program inside Photoshop called 'Imageready', and you can do the same type of animated .gifs with that too.

Good luck!

Yeah, ImageReady is badass. I enjoy making animated sigs.
