About Xcalade... He's done alot of stuff to piss a TON of people off one way or another... So... I'm a bit suspicious about this whole thread.

I agree with Dalecooper... I'm thinking you're not really saying all this of your own "free will".

Im thinking I know who this person might be. As ive only met one person who somehow magically tolerated Xcalade and actually thought that little prick was 'a nice guy'.

As Devifoxx said, Xcalade has done a LOT of things to piss off a LOT of people. I am one of those people. I have Xcalade on my /blist, I personally don't care for the kid one bit. He doesn't know how to act respectfully to others unless they give him stuff or help him out, and that is not even respect. That is being spoiled.

Hah.. really this whole thread is a joke. The word wonderful has a 100ft restraining order on Xcalade. Looks like Xcalade's got some fines to pay.
 
A friend of mine had a run-in with Xcalade not too long ago, in which he impatiently took off running into the middle of Altepa before waiting for everyone to be Sneak'd...including the person who was /follow'ing him. They, of course, were attacked by Anticans and died... And Xcalade was bitching at the RDM (my friend) the whole time.

And then there was before they even left Jeuno... Xcalade was going off about equipment and stuff, making completely baseless statements and glaring generalizations, and pointed out a certain DRK, our linkshell's leader (whom both the RDM and I have talked to on the phone)...

The thing about not waiting for sneak and just running off really gets my goat. I cannot stand impatient people in this game. I partied in Qufim a couple weeks ago and of course we'd lose our 6th here and there and have to fill the spot. Sometimes we'd have to wait 5-10 minutes, sometimes it would get filled right away, and a couple times it would take about 30 minutes to fill.
Some people would /fume and /sigh and sne dme /tells or /party that this sucks and I don't have time for this...

I would say the person is almost here, etc. And then then /fumers would just decide to leave without warning. Then our 6th would join us, but we'd need another and had to wait even longer then. Patience would have solved everyone's problem. Ugh! I /sigh dejectedly about impatience.

These impatient types will have a hard time continuing on. Waiting is just part of this game at times.
 
I was there, sneaky. And yes if they were a little patient it would have been a good xp party. I hate people that disband without any warning. I usually give a 1/2 to and hour warning before I have to log. I hate impatient people in videogames.
 
I don't get the big deal with waiting... You have free time, does that mean it has to ALL be devoted to sitting in front of the screen? Of course not! If you're waiting for that last member to get there, go AFK and go do something constructive. Even if not that, go take care of personal hygene! Find something to do while you wait; don't bitch about how you're having to wait longer and longer.

Yeah Sneaky I have a problem with those people too... JUST when that last person arrives to the PT, they feel its necessary to "make a point" and disband from the now full PT, and throw up the seek tag for good half hour or more.

That crap about your LS leader and his gear, Nyahoho, is funny as hell to me! Racism at its best. Apparently Xcalade thinks NA don't have the time or patience to get good gear, or knowledge to know what good gear IS... I guess I'm half Japanese ever since I got my Boots and Pin! So much for my German and Russian herritage... :P I have never talked to the guy or been in a PT with him, but he sounds like a piece of work.

Saw him tanking/pulling in Garliage last night, but that's the only time I saw him. Mithy was in the party with him... why dont you ask her input? :)

Yeah I was there too and wanted to give a backhand to a certain Summonor who I wont name here.

People leave... Deal with it. Dont get all pissy if you have to wait around a while. Thats life.
 
If ya gotta go, ya gotta go...No biggie.
But when you say you have a while to play, and then it takes 20 minutes to fill a position and you just /fume and leave, that = teh ghey.

I've been playing WHM lately, and went through the following with a very short-lived party in Qufim yesterday:

Scene: the tunnel just off Jeuno zone line.
Me: (as people are running off) Would you guys like sneak?
PT: No, it will wear off.
Me: (WTF?) Ok, whatever you say. (Sneaks self)
A couple of minutes later..
PT: OMG OMG WIGHT I'M BOUND OMG
Me: Yeah, good luck with that.
