Well it would seem I now agree with you about the PS3 being a better buy! lol I just had to replace my 360 yesterday, the DVD drive in it stopped working and destroyed COD4 in the process. Strange I know.

After looking at the $50 price difference and the games coming this year, Ill be getting one this week. I like the way Blu-ray movies look. Also I hate paying for Xbox Live, I think it's a ripoff. So I went back to Silver. Any online game I buy from now will be bought for the PS3.

Ill still keep my 360 but I'll only buy exclusives for it (alan wake, lost odyessy to name a few).

Depending on how often i can play CoD4 with the gang, i'll probably be downgrading to silver. Hardly any good online games are coming out at all.
 
So I'm getting Uncharted for sure. I'm thinking about picking up Folklore and Ratchet & Clank with it. Folklore any good, underrated?

Lol, I've actually had all of those games except for Folklore since Christmas. Haven't touched either of them since opening them, seriously, never even popped in the disc. ; ;
 
R&C and Uncharted were very good. Folklore was alright.

Folklore was PRETTY. Not too in-depth and I wasn't a big fan of "Do every dungeon twice with maybe different enemy placement" gameplay, but it just LOOKED awesome the whole time, even on my SD TV.

Also, Uncharted was pure win. Best character animation and voice acting, EVER.
 
I like folklore but it's niche. It's like a hack and slash, more interesting and mature version of pokemon. Kind of... It's artistically very appealing.

If you're getting Ratchet and Uncharted, maybe wait to see what's going on with the 80 gig. It's possible they're introducing a new sku with Ratchet and Uncharted packed in.

If you get get PS2 BC 40 more gigs and 2 games you were gonna buy anyway for $100 it's a no brainer.
 
Also I know this game has been out forever and is on the Xbox too, but do you guys think Enchanted Arms would be worth $20? I never played and Im thinking about picking it up.
 
I would pick up Enchanted Arms for $20. It was a decent game. It breaks no new ground in JRPG's but I enjoyed it. I would just suggest putting on Japanese voice acting immediately. Well buy it or rent it. Once I beat it I haven't really had a desire to play through it again.
 
be sure to get Resistence :D and UT3 and such :P they ish win.
 
I dont know about yall, but I find the dialogue in Enchanted Arms to be quite funny lol. It's different thats for sure and you can tell by the way the acting that they don't take themselves serious.
 
I dislike the plot on most JRPGs lately. I think the people who actually enjoy it must only see anime or something to have their dialogue and plots so bad and convoluted. Enchanted Arms has enjoyable game play at least.

But man when an RPG has a great plot, like FFX, everything is just perfect.

Yeah but thats very rare. IX and X were my favorites by far, that was a great, but now Square takes years and years to release the next title.

I've played only a few RPG's that ive enjoyed since FFX. Radiata Stories, Mass Effect, and probably the first Xenosaga, and thats about it. I liked Persona 3, but never finished it.
 
They need to release another DragonQuest.
