Im not looking for ppl to bitch me out or "feel my pain". I'm just tired of telling it to myself so figured wth post it. Im sure there are ppl who blow past me in time put in and thats cool, but ur the ones to ask...If ur tired of lvling, tired of farming, tired of camping, tired of questing/tired of hearing this person has this gear i wish i had that..WTF do i do now?<short of qutiing of course>. if u wanna rag on me go ahead, if u got suggestiions they will be greatly appreciated. I can pinpoint when i stopped caring, but dont know how to fix it. Thank-u for listening/taking shots at me

Take a week or two off.

If that doesn't make you feel better, quit. Sell the account or drop everything to make sure you don't come back.

Find out why you played in the first place, and try to continue to play for that. It's easy enough to start over on another job, or take the time to make more friends or help people. Only thing you could call seriously limited is quest/mission availability, and even that's pretty ongoing.

You can always do great things like helping people get thier Genkai quests done ;)

Thanks for your help tonight, you and everyone else that was there kick ass^^

hey, if you figure out how to put the bloom back on the rose let me know as well.

I know first hand why he started playing. He saw myself and his brother having a lot of fun with the game. He picked it up himself and had a blast with it.

Mori~ Take a break dude. Don't give yourself a set time either. Just stop playing for a while. If it gets to the point where you start questioning your motives, or to where you wonder why the hell you even play the game, chances are you are playing too much. Don't put so much thought into it, it's either a hobby, or a hopeless addiction. Don't let it be the latter of the two my friend.

When and if you come back from your break, hopefully you feel better.

As many people have said, just take a break and come back when you feel the time is right. Personally what keeps getting me back in is exploring new areas. There's still dozens of zones I haven't been to or really explored, so maybe that's the solution, just gear up your Thief and go exploring, FFXI really has some well done areas and music. Good luck with whatever you do though!

Like everyone said, take a break. I got tired of the game some time ago but what keeps me coming back are my friends. Sometimes I'll just sit somewhere and chat with my LS or other friends. Help the random person, or see if anyone in the LS needs help.

i been playing for about that length of time as well, so i can understand how you might be feelin burned out. Last night was the 1st time i ever been to dangruf wadi. that place was quite pretty, and i was pleasently surprised, kinda like a diamond in the gusta. Its little things like that that keep me comin back. like them kats above me said, take a break, and find that adventuring spirit again...or go here

someone else posted it first, but it is awfully cute and, well...tear.

Dude, you're my brother and I love you man. I know how you feel and, like a broken record, take a break from it. You might just end up realizing its time to be done or you might just miss it like Mistra and I. You've made friends throughout the game and I'm sure it would kind of suck to just drop all that, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I would really suggest taking a break, pick up something else...like knitting =P. Just kidding btw  But seriously it would be nice to get away from it, if even for only a lil bit.

Hmm...
Definately haven't been playing as long as you...
Even a fraction of the time you have...
But...

Maybe you should devote yourself to some higher calling???
Like...helping newbies...Or starting a Guild LS to help support others with crafting.
