Signature Advice

Okay, I need help on finding a way to create a better signature. Like, my the drafts of my signatures just suck. lol. Can anyone give me any tips?

Try using different tutorials and start to combined them. I have PS CS, and I just kept trying everything until I got a good handle on it. I just google for tutorials on what I want to do usually.

photoshop cs is what i use. What program are you using?

Photoshop CS2 is what i use. And unless you have like 500$, torrent it or know someone with it you wont be getting it any time soon. If thats the case Id download Gimp. Its not that great but you can get good with it and make some decent sigs. And like neche said tuts are good. Don't copy them directly but they definitly help you to understand the tools and help you further your skills in the program.

I had a lot of fun with gimp. I "accidently" got ahold of some paintshop program, but I still found Gimp easier to use.. namely because I got used to it. That and this version that I just got might be a bit flakey. The best advice that I can give you is practice. Having an eye for color and not making your images too busy helps, but practice goes a long way. Don't put your expectations too high, as you'll learn something new every time. And those who make the really, really awesome sigs have been doing it for a while.
