when you're at work and you refer to your co-workers activities in FFXI terms. i see a sales rep with a buncj of customers and i think "shes training those mobs to isle 22."
 
When your talking to friends in rl and you call the person by thier game name infront of friends. OR when your talking to ppl about what someone else said and you say Oh yeah and they lol and i lmao. Have also had dreams of gobs chasing me. Yes i did play the game to much. lol
 
When you can have fully detailed dreams of FFXI, including noticing the person's armor, zone, linkshell pearl colors, and text dialogue.

Kinda random but..I've noticed that every ffxi video of a linkshell fighting some mob or doing some mission, they all have the same music choice for it: Some rock song. Where's the vairity??

Anywhoo you know you've been playing too much ffxi when you say you have wife aggro and got defeated!(or vise versa)
 
Something I've done before is having a bad crafting session where I lose out on gil. Later that day I'll be out for food, and order off the dollar menu because I'm thinking I just blew a ton of money and can't afford the value meal...

That's the oddest one yet lol. I got my friend to go a on a beer run for me one and told him to pick up 2 stacks of Alpine.... bout it for me lol

When you use up all your money to buy gil and then turns out you can't even play FFXI cause you can't meet the payments to play it XD

know somebody in RL that this happened to.. it cracked me up
