Searching for players to befriend in this region. I began playing in February this year, got Drk60, war30, thf17, rdm16, Bastok Rank 5. I began with 4 friends together; 1 quit. My LS is Crimson Pirates... they're an awesome bunch of people. But I'm pissed off with time difference. Can't really do anything together unless it's the weekends. So I really hope I can invite friends of my region into my LS.

Japanese players who speak and understand english who don't mind my bunch welcome too.

As I've stated my job levels, my friends and I are around the same as I too. Hence, we won't be able to do anything end-game. Just hope to meet people around the same progress level as us, so we can do more things together.

By the way, my timezone is GMT +08:00.

Hey there,
Yes I am a Malaysian Player. Heading back to Malaysia 24th July from Melbourne.
Been playing FFXI since December 2003.
We actually gathered peeps from this region before but most left already. One of them may come back and others nope.
As of right now, I am preparing my departure from Melbourne as I just graduated and already got a job in Malaysia as an auditor.
I should be back in FFXI early August if my job permits me to do so.
Nick is Kirayamato. Job listed at the bottom. Not interested in joining another LS but I don't mind lvl-ing or helping you guys ^^

Okay... will look you up then. Hope by that time I can get thf and war to 37, drk to 75 so we can do stuff together.

Sorry I don't even have a job to 75 yet. So I'd like to ask... is there a limit to how many merits you can get?

http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Merits

There are limits per category for merit combos to add up, and once you complete all the categories for certain merits you want, then that is the limit of merits you can get overall...

Hope you find a group of people that can be on when you are too, I think when you're on, I'm sleeping, and vice versa.

lmao more S'porean and M'sians xD
Look me up in the game, our ls have 4 S'poreans now ^^''
(I was just joking a few days ago with a ls mate that, with the rate of new S'poreans joining, they can form a small S'poreans static pt ^^)

Edit: Oops, you are recruiting players... my bad ^^; disregard my post then :p

SG here and I know a few more players from SG as well.

Seems the SG (or MY) community in Quetz isn't as strong as other servers, my friend who used to play on bahamut said that they had an entire LS of Singapore Navy people. The LS is empty whenever they go on exercises. :D

4 Singaporeans in our LS (i'm not S'poreans fyi) ^^v

Not just looking to recruit for LS... making friends too. I will look you guys up in game.

My ign is Cersil as well... only have another friend I started playing with, and my gf who's Thai.

Glad to see you coming back man
Good luck to you Cersil

Thanks for the replies, guys. My friends and I currently with Kirlua now. Still, looking forward to meet more local players. ;D
