Just a sketch I worked on for my character. Going to ink it and color it with PSP tomorrow ^^ I changed a few things before I inked it (I forgot her tail.... >_O) But felt like sharing this because its my first drawing in about 8 or 9 months and I was really excited about it ^^; I'll post the colored version when I am done =D

Yeah the glove kinda merges with the blade in the pic but in the inked version its easier to define ^^; I get sloppy with skethces lol but ty for the compliment =D

I have no artistic skill what so ever so i cant say anything cept thats pretty good :D .

Well now she doesnt ;p Adobe for some odd reason (curses numerous times) kept shutting down randomly on me and it drove me to being incredibly insance and frusturated by the time I decided I was done (for now) with this. First full sketch to color I've done in 2 years ^^; Know its not as good as some of our locals D;

I'd suggest adding a little more highlight to the upper body/chest area, it seems a little plain. I like that you changed the weapon position, that looks really nice as well. Overall, really nice and much better than I can do (cause I can't CG for the life of me).
 
As I said Adobe was shutting down on me constantly. My enitre highlight layer got deleted two times, and all the AF boot details were lost as well. I'm still working on it but putting it off for a couple of days out of frustration. Plus cloth isnt particularly "shiny" lol. I was going for accuracy. Thanks for the comments =) :oops: I really need to find a tutorial site to color different. New techniques [Can I have it?]

:oops: :D Thank you ^_^ I was happy with how it turned out as well. The face tatoo's in particular (even tho they are so plain, the color match was pretty close ^^)

who said anything about "shiney"? :P
 
Highlighting usual implys that the surface would have a shine to it. As in the hair, which is highlighted. ^^
 
What could really add some definition to the pic is if you made the clear Ni triangle show in some way. However, the pic is really nice and <3 the painting job.
 
Sloppy sketch.... sheeesh...

Showing off some real talent there, I like it!! There is one part of it that is disturbing me, and that is the position of your right hand fingers?

I wish to do just a drawing like this using the sketch I did for my avatar, then patch them together using PS, but I don't know what pose to go for. I also suck at drawing bodies...
 
Can you explain how you colored it with your PSP? The only thing I can get my PSP to do is show pictures and play UMBs. :cry:
