Skiewalker's artwork thread

I'm back! (for now! >_>;) Sorry about writing about posting a picture and then going back on it. I got a really bad migrane and was out of comission for a while.

Here are two new pictures I drew when I was at work these past two days. The first one is the sketch for a comission I'm doing for a co-worker. The second one is an icon of my girlfriend's character so she can use it.

Here you go!

Haha. Cute, ain't they? Well, I'm gonna go clean my room~ I've got two days off of work and well... GONNA DRAW! Woot!

By the way, comments are welcome. Especially on "the Magician" because it's an unfinished piece. I'd love to hear some feedback.

Again, the facial expressions seem to be the area you excel in, especially the eyes. I really like the chibi style you used this time, your sketches are really well done.

Thank you Zerayla. I'll have to say faces, especially eyes, are what I do draw the most. Mostly quick sketches I do at work are faces because I don't have a lot of time to draw. I really need to practice bodies, though. T-T Ah well.

hhmmm... how did i miss this thread earlier? very nice art work, all of it... ^^ keep making more! <.> draw a galka in chibi!

A galka chibi? Hmmm.. XDXD That'd be so cute. Better than a Taru chibi who's head is so big it'd fall over when standing up. Thanks for the comment. Yup. Keep checking back 'cause I plan on keeping the thread alive. lol Unlike other artists. (Looks in your direction Aristarc XD)

Sorry for the wait

You know what my main problem is with my work? That I cut my hours down so I can go to college and enjoy drawing a little bit more and then... BAM! Back over 40 hours again. This week I only get 1 day off (Saturday).... Maybe. >_>;;; It sucks galka tail. Plus I keep starting little pictures and never go for the ones I said I was going to complete like... 5 pages ago. So if you're still waiting around for that sexay Dragoon picture, please be patient. Also thanks to everyone who checks out my post and my Deviantart. Everyone's support helps me stay afloat. Well... Onto the artwork!

This one was done a few weeks ago. It looks just like him, doesn't it?! I was trying to go for an 80's style look. I might redo this eventually, especially after the new movie comes out. Haha. I'm such a Potter fan, but I've never even read one of the books! Bollocks to it, I say! J.K. Rowling can't beat Ursula K. Leguin's Earthsea or Jim Butcher's Dresden Files! I like those kinds of wizards better.
P.S. Terry Pratchett FTW!! XDXD

Here's another one I did yesterday when I was 'serving time' at a kiosk. A few sketches of my character. I wanna color these so bad! I got a new monitor and hard drive for my desktop... But I haven't cleaned it off yet. lol It's covered in spare computer parts and other crap. I'm really a lazy person, you know? Enjoy the picture. It's drizzling with cuteness.

I got two more pictures coming tomorrow plus I'm gonna color some stuff. ^^ I'll upload them in the morning.
Until then. Goodnight!

New picture! Sorry for the wait!!

Sorry about the wait everyone. >,<;; I had some issues with the computer and didn't get a chance to upload these. However, I did spend most of my days off playing FFXI (which should be called Final Fantasy Online: the Artist Killer) and made a shit load of gil over the two days. Plus I almost have my Bonecraft spectacles. Woot! XD
Anywho... Yeah. These two pictures were done this past weekend. The first one is a finished picture, second one I'm gonna redo. I remember seeing these in artbooks I have at my work, so I decided to test my memory (which is deteriorating too quickly as is) and yeah. These are both, technically, falible copies from other artists. I think. lol The second one I took more liberty from since I couldn't remember 100% how it was, but I'm gonna change it up someday anyways.

Onto the art!

Questioning meaning while moving forward
Check out the creepy eye patch. XD

Sexy ninja boy? Just wait until I'm finished. Rawr.

Your ninja boy kinda reminds me of one of the characters from "Wild Arms 3".

Excellent sketches again though, really like your ability to do facial expressions because you have so much detail in them. These would make some great lineart if you're one to CG color your pics.

Haha. I'm working on cleaning off my desk area so I can color some stuff on my desktop. My laptop is <too weak>. I wish my girlfriend and I didn't live in a closet. lol Then I'd have room for everything.

you win.

You're off of work today, get to work on your art then boy!

I know I'm off of work today. I played FFXI and then studied my Japanese for a while. Then I watched Supernatural because I missed last weeks. Now I'm heading to school.

I know I should have drew. I'm a degenerate artist.

where's my adorable chibi galka? ; ;

On a piece of paper sitting in my bedroom. XD It's creepy cute. Lemme see if I can scan it later after I get home from my mother's house.

Ha! You went to mom's today? Tell her I said "hi" I hate going over there. Also, post the picture x.x I'm bored at work. I need to critique.

Would have helped if I didn't get home until 7! >,<;; Ugh. I feel so sick... And I'm a week behind in college.... T-T

Rawr! >,<;; School and work are kicking my ass...

Sorry I haven't been posting. Come March I'm gonna have enough 'room' for my scanner again. It's such a pain unpacking my scanner to scan something then putting it away again. <sigh> I've got a nice stack of artwork that needs to get completed, but I might have to wait until after school is over. Right now I'm learning Japanese, which ain't too bad but with work it's been hard to juggle time. I am, however, doing an 'art' project for my class. I'll post it if ya'll want. ^_^
Ja mattene!
