Skillchains?

What is the difference between the level 1, 2, and 3 skillchains, besides the element and the different magic burst combinations? I've noticed that level 1 skillchains always seem to do half the damage of the second weaponskill, is there a similar trend for level 2 and 3 skillchains?
 
higher the level the more damage it does

lv.3 SC is Light and Darkness

once you lv.65+ you'll get the idea

lv.1 = too weak lol

Ok, so it isn't necessary to have three weaponskills in order to create a level 3 skillchain? I thought that was the case, because I know you can create level ones AND level twos with only two weaponskills

Nope, all Skillchains are done with 2 Weapon Skills, the level of them just means that there are more elements inside the Magic Burst range and more damage. The level 3s' damage all depend on the timing. You can make 100% or 50% of the last WS's damage, if less or more, I'm not sure. I've seen 900+ X 2 damage many a times, and it's sweet.
 
no, depend on what WS you used, it will create different level of SC

like high level WS will create either lv.2 or lv.3 SC

and mid level WS will create either lv.1 or lv.2 SC

low level WS will creat either lv.1 only or lv.1 and lv.2

don't think you can do lv.3 SC until your like lv.65+ what have like the last WS of your job (Before quested WS)
 
Level 1 skillchain consists of only one element

Level 2 skillchain consits of two elements

Level 3 skillchain consists of four elements

The damage the skillchain does to the mob depends on how hard the second weapon skill hits and if the mob resists the element of the skillchain.
