k so lately I've been sleeping at random times for random amounts of time. I'd sleep for an hour, be up for 4 hours, sleep for 12 hours and so on. I don't know why i could be sleeping like this.

Over the past week it keeps getting more random. I can barely stay awake when I need to and it's starting to become a pain in the ass.

I know it's not stress. My life has been pretty calm lately. My brother is never home, my sis-in-law moved out. My mom isn't as bitch of a bitch anymore. So i know it's not stress.

Anyone know what could be causing this? I'm not on any meds, I'm healthy, stress free, not sick.

I sometimes have the same problem, but I believe its because Im anoemic, as well as frequently stressed... Could that be possible with you? (not the stress part)

Another could be just... Staying up late at night, past normal sleeping hours, which will throw off your normal sleeping pattern

Nah, I haven't stayed up past 1 am for a long time now. So that can't be it.

melotonin (sp?)

ftw.

I use it when i get out of sync to get back in sync. Most pharmacies or like GNC or something would carry it. As far as i know it's safe, might wanna consult a doctor if you have other meds or conditions. Pop one of those badboys about an hour (takes a little longer for me) before you intend on crashing out and that's just about all she wrote. Usually wake up feeling like a million bucks after any normal ammount of sleep with these things.

I think sometimes people just get a little out of whack, usually i'm not one to recommend any kind of answer in the pill form but sleep is nothing to fuck with. One way or another your body will get that time back out of you.

Probably best to see a docter if you havn't yet. It could be you're restless. Do you walk around alot during the day? If you're sitting all day at a screen, its probably hard on your eyes and you're just wanting to loaf around instead of lie down and sleep.

I work out for an hour every day. When I have the energy anyways lol. And no i will not go over an hour, I don't want to push the limits of my health.

Get some stress. lol

The bad thing about having a no stress life is that you don't get tired. Stress makes you tired.

You need to do more things during the day, thats it.

I think you're missing what I'm saying. It's not that I can't sleep. It's that I'm sleeping too much and it's sporratic(sp?) at best.

You should go see a doctor xD

There's a disease where you start sleeping more and more untill you're in a coma. Although I don't think that's what you have, it shows that sleep is something you shouldn't fuck with. The only person who could tell you if its normal, dangerous, weird, good or w/e is a doctor

Ah I see.

Do something instead of sleeping? Stay away from the bed, get out of the house.

Only sleep when it's time to sleep, and get up when it's time to get up.

Sleep is best.... as a routine, not when it's convienient. The best time to go to sleep is 8pm to 10pm, and get 8 hours sleep from there, not any more.

If you do all that, and you still get up, go see a doctor.

As they say here, you probably have sleep debt.

You might want to see if you've got an extremely minor case of asthma or even acid reflux/heartburn. Those are two pretty common causes for sleepless nights or nights where you wake up often but feel fine (just tired).

The asthma thing is something you need to see a doctor about. A friend had this problem once and he was shocked to find out this was the cause of his restless nights. He's always breathed just fine and never had asthma attacks or anything like that.

If it's an acid reflux problem, you can try taking pepcid ac before you go to sleep and sleep with your head/upper body slightly elevated. Even though you might show absolutely no signs of acid reflux, it can still effect you at night when you sleep. It can also cause coughs and slightly sore throats.

First LOL at the Asthma thing. I got Cystic Fibrosis. That pussy illness ain't got nothing on me.

Second. I decided to run for 2 hours instead of my normal one hour and despite the panting I have energy lol.
