Slow response

Anyone else getting really bad lag posting or editing posts? Happening for me mostly at work, but to a lesser extent at home.

Example, I hit 'edit' at work and have to wait about 12-15sec before I can edit the post. I hit 'edit' at home and have to wait 5-8sec.

I think my tubes are leaky.

The whole site has been lagging off and on for me, but seems to have gotten much better.

Timed out completely most of the morning, was finally able to get on ~1pm EST.

Other internet sites had been / are coming up as fast as usual.
 
Yeah response time seems to be back to normal now.
 
lol have we outgrown our dataplan again.
 
The site has been messed up all day for me. I was able to post this morning, then the site wouldn't even come up to me for the rest of the late morning up until now. I'm still getting very slow responces, and about 50% of the time it times itself out. This is the 3rd time I've tried to post this comment lol.
 
I am glad to hear that it is not just me. The site has been coming up error style for me most of the day. When it finally does come up I get to watch the Columns resize and icons appear out of nowhere too. I thought it was my crap work PC.


Also my "New Posts" Function used to be quick like lightning. Now it takes almost a full minute if it works at all.

I keep getting spurts where it slows down and takes up to 5 minutes before the page loads, no exaggeration.

Sometimes when I check (I do other things while I wait an eternity for the page to load) and click on a link things start to load as normal, but after a while it starts to do it again. Its very random for me =/
 
Yeah I just had another spike too. Very erratic.
 
Been this way the past week or 2 for me up and down.
