So I was bored, took over a buddies 75pld and war acct, and did a few shouts in Jeuno if anyone needed help. A few said they needed rank 5, so I offered to get them the items from beadeaux. Then I saw a 60 SMN asking for AF3 help. So I said I was heading down to help out on rank 5, and he offered to come.
Once we were back in jeuno from helping the two I read the quest online and saw that a 75 smn and 58 smn duo'd it. So being the guy that I am, decided to duo it also, since a 75 Meeze and a 60 SMN is probably better than any other combo possible.
Well the fight was 20 min (record breaking!!!) of getting silenga and dispelga casted on me knocking down the shadows on my pld/nin. I must say, it is the first time I've had that epic of a fight, most of the time with RNG and DRK it was a race to see whose HP would end first, but this was a marathon. It was a pretty big rush, especially after he dispelga'd all of my yag drinks. At the end I was out of MP living off of Flashes and Ichi, dipped down to around 100 a few times and finished at about 250 HP and silenced lol.
Keep in mind I don't have much gear, most of it being r/e, and no EVA+ gear, so this was mano a mano.
Grats to Leinhart who got his strap on, and to Chappelle and Leiden who got their items for rank 5.
I think I'm addicted to these type of fights, so send Meezschrst or Callum a /tell if you need a tank.
