SMN Merit Questions.

I know it's a good Idea to Merit Avatar Physical Attack and Avatar Physical Accuracy.

My question is this, How many merits should I add into each to get the most out of the merit? As it stands I have it like this.

Avatar Physical Attack: Level 2
Avatar Physical Accuracy: Level 2

Now, I have 6 more ups to add. How many should I add into each category.

And also, should I learn each of the Meritted BP or take one of them to level six? if so which one?
 
well max is 5 ... so 5 and 5

catergory 2 merits seem worthless imo but if u plan to merit them im clueless cause id rather do thf/brd merits
 
i personally went 5/5 on phys acc and attk prior to the smn mag update.

now that smn mag has an effect on bloodpact accuracy and magical accuracy im positive with good summoning magic gear like an evokers ring, af2 hands and a torque you can get away with not actually doing physical accuracy.

this would leave you open to do magic attack which would do some good for your nether blast (even if only a small increase) and would make the most of any of the new BPs you decide to unlock.

havent tried it out yet tho myself because im a predator claws whore and dont wanna drop 150k of merits.
 
I went for a more balanced approach at the time I merited my Smn.
I went 4 phy acc, 3 phy attk, 2 mag. acc, 1 mag attk. I dont regret it. I think being balanced is important for flexibility. I wouldnt disagree with anyone who put 5 and 5 in phy acc and phy attk though. This was just a personal decision.
 
I got 4 magic att(cause i seem to use nether blast a good amount) and 3 to melee att and acc. Got all 6 merit pacts too, though getting 5 in one would really help its dmg; probably 130 more or so cause of the 100 tp.

if youre saying the tp bonus gives an extra 100 tp i think it actually gives like 20 a time or something weak, so prob not worth doing more than 1 in any of them, i assume the mattk merits would do more for them than 20 tp.

anyway im more interested how much youre nether blast does with those merits.
depending on the mob i usually do 500-530ish.

still i always feel gimp as hell using nether blast because i know i can easily hit a kited mob for double that amount with a 70 pact if im paying attention.

I feel ya buddy lol.

On another note, I did the morbolger KSNM 30 BC yesterday with some other SMNs. They keep telling me to use fenrir bc garuda "sucks".
Kunel's Garuda Predator Claw > 1300
Other Smn Fenrir Eclipse Bite> 600-900

Garuda sucks eh?

i dont even know why i thought getting fenrir was such a big deal at the time. ive used him like 3 times i swear, and it gets worse every time.

yea garuda can get lucky... eclipse is the most consistant in that bc

there were 2 good garuda BPs outta the 7 or 8 tried most were goin for 100-300 where deadbeet did one for 900 something and you did one for 1300. In that BC fenrir is just extremely consistant 600-900 as u said even tho there was a fen for 1200 during our 2nd run. Plus fen has a higher per hit damage which is what i was actually more concerned with. Fen was hitting the oscar for ~120 a hit if i remember right.

Neways no matter what was used that bc is ez and entertaining

Also you have the best gear.. cough.. summoner horn .. cough ( ; ; Jealous)

neways thats the only place i suggest fenrir most of the time i use garuda or levi

That was alot of fun though btw. Thanks alot for taking me.
I used Fenrir the whole time until the last battle. Someone else was using the earlier fights...wasnt me lol. Come along with me sometime for Krakken bc. Its hit or miss but when you hit its huge lol.

You get him late? Cause his aoe buffs are amazing in parties. Outside of that, idk.

Go 5 attack and 5 accuracy. The rest throw them into Summoning Skill and MP.
 
Yeah, my original plan was 5 att and 5 acc. That's still what I'm gonna go with.

After that...I'm more that likely gonna hang SMN up for a bit. I'm only planning to use to finish CoP and participate in Dynamis. ANd then one day every two weeks or so xping.
 
Yes Selph you will merit with us and you know you will... we are our own little merit club almost tank healers and DD's... I only we could all be on at the same time....
 
But of course Illy ^^ But once RNG gets high enough.... >.>
