Snow Rings

Hi. I just landed on some money recently so I'm trying to decide between snow rings for my blm or HQ staves. Anyway, while googling I ran into a post by someone saying that these rings had a hidden effect of refresh.

Ok i was almost out of mp and i didnt have any refresh on (RDM) and I have two snow rings so i was wondering why my mp was going up .. its seems the hidden effect of the snow one is MP Refresh doesnt matter how much mp you got it will refresh you !! maybe it depends on jobs also.. but im not sure!

Is this true? I couldn't find anything else anywhere on the web about this. Since this is the only comment I found saying anything about refresh I'm at least a little skeptical. Any info would be great.

Also, I'm leaning towards buying snow rings rather than HQ staves, but I'm wondering what you guys think of the +10mp vs the + elemental damage from the staves. What would you do? Some people have been saying that Diamond Rings are more than adequate.

yeah... uh, no. there is no refresh effect as far as i've seen since i got mine, not in red hp, not at over 100% tp, not at all.

just an FYI, i also heard this rumor about the snow rings, from a gentleman on the Hades Server, however, he said the Hidden Effect was activated by the Ice Weather Effect....never seen it in action, so i would also have my doubts. just something to consider.

i wouldnt completely rule out the possibility of a Hidden Effect...SE has MANY hidden effects attached to various armor and weapons that few people know about.

HQ staves hands down. The extra 2 int from the snow rings compared to using diamond rings doesnt even compare to the extra damage you would with a Jupiter's or Aquilo's staff.

I have snow rings, and while they are great and all, you'll benefit more from the H.Q staves.

And no, there is no hidden effect of Refresh.

Jesus would probably buy an Apollo's Staff . . . although he might change the name. There's a passage in 1 Corinthians 12 that seems to explain that to me.
