If Gandalf is in so damn tight with the Eagles, why the fuck did he not have a pair of them fly Frodo and Sam into Mordor? They seemed to have no problem carrying them atthe end of ROTK, nor did one have any problem carrying Gandalf in FOTR. Certainly 2 Hobbits must weigh about the same as 1 normal sized human, granted Sam is a bit overweight. My guess, Gandalf is either trading sexual favors, then posturing that he is a badass with the Eagles, or he's just a dick!
