Just got done trying to get some Destroyers for Iggman. 0/3 but whatever. Grabbed a ride to Xarc to OP to bastok. Now we always go through the ritualistic hunt for shadow dragon and maybe pray Biast pops. So running along and Ruck see's Biast @1% HP with some JP ls killing it. For whatever reason it went yellow and well.....

I stunned it and it stayed yellow, then Igg Flashed it and went red lol. I walked in and gave it the whats what and took my 338gil.


As a follow up note about my wonderful night - I just found a bat cape in a newbs bazar for 80k in bastok markets....

I need to drink and play FFXI more - good things happen!

They are Japanese, not RMT. Why would you condone waisting soemone elses time and effort of getting it to 1% (while they are still alive)? He did nothing to spawn it, he did nothing to fight it down to 1%, he didn't even wait for them to die.

Ever since one of SE's updates made claiming mobs different, they also seem to randomly go unclaimed at times, especially when kiting.

thats happened to me about 4 times now, lol. I know people say dont waste your time, but I wanted the helm really bad. Popped Biast 4 times total, by camping, every time it was stolen as I was kiting it. NM's apparently go white after a short time of not being engaged/being a little too far away. Oh well, I just said forget the helm, it isnt great, just kinda nifty.

There was a JP bst in Uggalepih once, fighting that NM pot that drops the PLD/DRK shield, and our whm somehow got to claim it AS the bst was fighting it. I dont understand. But the BST was dyin anyway. Shield dropped, so we invited the BST and let her grab her drops
