Should I be calling a GM about this? It seems like the sort of thing anyone can say, and that it'll just be dismissed. Either way I logged on late last night and saw I was at 34k...down 200k from last I checked. Anyone have suggestions? Once I get some free time I'll prob camp a NM - so "make the money back" is already being planned.

Sure you didn't try to buy something for 20k, and accidently bid 200k? Or we could get right to the bottom of this now... Who else has your account info? 9 times out of 10, its a "trusted friend" with account info who steal crap.
 
use ffxiah to track down your recent purchases

remember it wont work if its not in an ah other than alzhabi/jueno
 
As of Jan 6, FFXIAH.com doesn't show any transactions for you over 45k. Maybe in the last few days, check it out.

I'm sure you can call a GM to request information on where the gil went. I'm sure if you ask nicely, and don't request a refund, they'll tell you.

Or maybe you bought an a stack of Shehie in someone's bazaar for 2000 gil ea. ;)
 
just buy a mil, then you'll have 800k more than you were missing.

Kotsu meant that person hadn't done any transactions over 45k... not that ffxiah.com isn't showing any transactions over 45k for anyone anymore.

To those of you making sarcastic comments: bug off.

Vandoura thanks very much for putting that all together. I did go to ffxiah to check my history and it all added up as far as I could tell. Lucky for me I'll be selling all of that crap back so I'll at least have that back in my pocket. Also, to anyone who mentioned it or is wondering: Nobody has my account info (other than myself)

I'll try the call a GM and get the the history method, that seems fair and logical. Thank you for the suggestion.
 
I still think a dingo ate your 200k is the most logical of circumstances. We understand your not happy but you need to lighten up sometimes too and let us trolls eat the sheep crossing our bridge.
