well i was chipper all day and enjoying a good laugh watching my home made cribs video with my little brother and his friends, when i got some news
I was just at his house a week and a half ago, he seemed completley fine, he looked as if he had made a great recovery from his past complications and was laughing and having a good time with me as we worked on his xbox frustratingly for hours.
Sadly our attempts ended in failure and i promised to get a little more research into the subject and come back this next weekend and crack at it again, he handed me a 10 for gas for making the trip and i said goodbye.
it seems now it was my last goodbye and that pizza and halo party i was gonna have with him once he felt recovered enough to do so will not happen.
This is the guy who walked up to me as a stranger with a laptop at one of my first local music shows and introduced me as the playing bands manager...and we became good friends.
He got me jobs working on websites for other bands, and even some of his bands. Then when his main band kicked him to the curb, he handed me the reigns as he moved on to the next talent.
We would chat for hours about technology and upcoming programs that were going to be so cool, and he would let me listen to his bands unreleased music, which was a privledge because he said I was in "The circle" and that meant, me, him and the band, and they always wanted my opinion.
Im never going to log online and read "hey, check this out its the new track! drums are being recorded tomorrow!"
He was saved by a miracle on his death bed last year....God help me a miracle pulls through for him now. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as i will be, and if you dont pray, please keep him and his family in your thoughts.
This man was a good hearted man, always helping people, never once saw the man get angry, ive heard him peeved but never angry.
He fought for his wife when her life was coming short, and raised benefit concerts and much more, without any worry about his own conditions. And it saved her life, they fought to save each others lives together over these past couple years and now it seems that he may have fallen.
happy birthday to me.
Onceover said:Hey all,
Our best friend and manager Shawn Jeffords, who we (and many) love greatly has slipped into a coma from his health complications, and unfortunatley the outcome doesn't look too good. We ask you keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time......While our hearts are extremely sore, it's his wife, daughter, and immediate family that need the support. When we figure out what to do we will let you all know. Feel free to ask any questions.
Love,
OnceOver
