What'cha think? :P He was gonna photograph the moon yesterday (which was unusually strong). Right as he was taking the picture, the sky flashed and that's what got caught on the picture. I'd say its just a bad picture, but he's convinced it looks like a UFO. While neither of us actually believe its an actual UFO, its a fun picture and shows how easy its for pictures to get mistaken for what they aren't.

Is that the moon generating that light ? Or did your Father manage to take a snap shot of something else ?
 
Technically speaking, it -is- a UFO, since we really don't know what it is. "Unidentified Flying Object", and that's exactly what that is, heh. >.>

On a more serious note, you said your father saw a flash in the sky? I heard sometimes when meteorites or the like enter our atmosphere they burn up and create big flashes like that in the sky. Maybe what you see right there could be a meotorite or something similiar that came into the Atmosphere.

Don't take my word for it though, I'm not an astronomer.

We thought about a meteorite too :P Its the most logical explanation.

And yes, that is the moon. That's why he took a picture of it in the first place due to how strong it was that night. And technically it is the sun generating the light reflecting it on to the moon, but semantics :P
 
Speaking of UFO's, Look up Commander Sanni Ceto. She is supposedly the reincarnation of an alien that crashed at roswell and is a hybrid being. She was struck by lightning as a child which is why her speech is odd and its how her memories of her past life were unlocked, but she speaks very intelligently and detailed about UFOs and aliens.
my team has had her on their radio show twice and she is quite amazing to listen to, we even had her speak her native language on the show and she speaks the stuff very fluently.

That picture is kickass, Uzor. I think it's the moon, but it's clearly got some odd lights behind it.

I'm not one of those "there's no life out there" people either. I watch UFO Hunters as much as the next guy but this is beyond ridiculous.

If I were a peaceful alien stranded on earth and burdoned with the task of educating the human race about an evil mind controlling alien race...I probably wouldn't declare myself as an alien hybrid and write a book lol

She sounds like she could be a talented Sci-Fi writer though.
 
Chasym, the way she explained it she wasn't actually hit by lightning, she was close by when the lightning struck.

Either way, I'd say she's suffering from mild Autism and Schizophrenia. I got bored after listening to her for 5 minutes.

i dunno, on our show she said she was hit by lightning when asked why she talked how she did, we all felt bad for thinking she was mentally disabled after that. Shes supposedly been under tests that prove shes sane as well.

The meteor shower was difficult to see, even outside city limits where the lights fades off.

I wanted to see it last night.. but didn't see much at all. 3 small unmoving reddish lights.
 
I wanted to see it too, but the weather was too bad in Sweden. Couldn't see the sky due to all the clouds.

I'm hoping the weather will be better today since its supposedly today too.
