So should I bother with RNG sub?

Umm, I'm coming from playing PLD..so all I have is WAR sub and was starting to level RNG for a new SAM sub, since SAM is the new job I've been leveling.

Will RNG sub be totally pointless now though due to the new patch? I'd like real answers, not just more "omg they nerfed RNG!!11one" type junk.

...cause so far, from lvl 1-10, I still find the damage with RNG more than what I ever did with other jobs at that level.

I have RNG as one of my subs for my SAM. Been wondering this too. If RACC is increased being closer to the mob, I'm all for it. This means that my ranged attacks will hit more often for TP gain. and more arrows landing with barrage. Not concerned about dmg but TP gain. If this is so, at 100% TP with meditate ready, sharpshot, barrage, meditate, Tachi Yukikaze, ranged attack, Tachi Gekko, self fragmentation skillchain without using 2 hr. Then a RNG could tack on any of their L3 weapon skills to make Light.

Edit: I could do this before the RNG change with sharpshot and barrage, but this should be able to be done without sharpshot and barrage if normal ranged attack acc is better.

archery dmg is gimped by about 40% close range...as far as the acc up close...prolly have to wait till i go farming in sky to see, but i missed a sharpshot barrage with like +40 rng acc on a too weak up close...so yea.
