MPKing those who claim a HNM in order to steal claim/earn gil from drops = horrible practice.

MPKing those who interrupt a RP wedding (that still went off in the end, apparently) in a lowbie zone in order to show that delaying a procession is and great injustice and to 'teach them a lesson' = accepted and revered.

Not saying what those guys did was right (it wasn't) but I just find it kinda funny seeing when it's ok and not ok to MPK others.

is an^, not 'is and,' stupid casts.

Well, I brought the goblins to them and died but the goblins didn't aggro. However when they all ran away the goblins walked in the same direction as them and shortly after Pinkay and TheFatality were in sandy and their party was disbanded so I can only assume they died.

There were goblins who didn't aggro some of the newbs in my party as well. I think the goblins in the Dunes these days are newbs, too.

I don't think MPKing is right at all and stated that many times over the course of the wedding. It just proves your no better then they are.

Forget being "better" then them getting even is far more satisfying. Taking the morale high ground route gets you nowhere fast. Been there done that had to see a shrink in the end. <Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.>

I gotta respond on this one... How exactly were they MPKing? After all, that's what you're saying... Unless you mean that MPKing is as dirty as gatecrashing someone's wedding, which it ain't.

I've been MPK'd, it's a nusiance (I can never spell that right...) and no more, not a peice of shit thrown at my face. What they did was far worse than any form of MPK.

>_> I think deserved it... If i knew how to MPK, then i would do it to them. lol. X D *doesn't even know what it stands for, but knows what the outcome is* Killing them wouldn't bring us down to their level... It would just be justice. ; 3 Kinda like how the justice system sentences murderers to death, cuz... well, >.> They did a very very bad thing...

I would kinda say its the same thing as what the noobs did, but ofcourse this is only a game, and not a IRL wedding, but all the more reason to kill them. ^^ They don't really DIE, their characters just losses exp and get annoyed.. Which is what i'd call PERFECT JUSTICE. hmph.

I can think of some other solutions to this problem:

1) Have the wedding party /blist the offenders. Without encouragement, they leave and the wedding goes on as planned.

2) A different area is chosen in the first place, or perhaps a more secluded spot in the zone. If you're going to hold a large, public event in a high-traffic area, you need to consider the fact that random jackasses are going to come through. This is why people hold weddings in chapels and meadows and on golf courses and not in the middle of a shopping mall.

3) You follow up on your threat and call a GM on them (though what they did to violate the ToS is beyond me.)

Until someone gives me some other compelling evidence as to why an MPK was warranted for this (aside from "I think it was worse") this only proves how two-faced people can be when it comes to breaking the rules/ToS to get what they want.

Exactly what we did, or at least what I did. Took them about 5 minutes to get the hint, though.

We needed an area all the attendees could get to (Ruling out expansion areas), and a nice-looking spot. East Ronfaure fit the bill perfectly, because not many people level there. I personally wanted West Sartabarta, along the coastline, since so few people level there, but that's how it worked. Looking back, probably would have been best to go to La Theine and do it down in the south-west corner.

[3) You follow up on your threat and call a GM on them (though what they did to violate the ToS is beyond me.)]

That we did.

Thats actually what we did. Sure, tempers flared for a moment, but when they ran off, everything settled back down, they got /blisted (except from me because..hell I was reading my notes the whole time, so I wasnt watching the screen anyway), and the ceremony went on. And for the record, the area of East Ron. that was picked doesnt have a lot of 'heavy traffic'. It was a nice secluded little spot. In all reality, we were right outside of a city (those special 2 little zones outside of city areas) where new people are sure to spring from, but a little respect for other gameplayers isnt much to ask. A simple "Whats going on here?" would've sufficed, they did not need to take it to the extent that they did. That being said, neither did we. While I am amused and think its hilarious that they got MPK'ed, I really honestly dont think they should have been. I wont lie. Its funny as hell. But it doesnt change the fact that its wrong.

All in all, I feel that this issue is resolved. The party-crashers had their fun making fun of us and disrupting the wedding. Whoever mpk'ed them had their fun mpk'ing them. I get to laugh because they got mpk'ed, wrong though it is. Everyone is satisfied.

..Oh and another thing.

I thought it was hilarious that they told us to 'GET A LIFE U FUCKING FAGS' when..theyre playing the exact same game we were. We were just doing something different in the game.

I see you're in full support of the death penalty for TRESSPASSING.

Ninja never wear headbands with the word "ninja" printed on them.
Ninja can breath underwater anytime they want.
Ninja can change clothes in less than 1 second.
Ninja don't smoke, but they do use smoke bombs.

Ninja always move to America when making a new start as a non-assassin.
Ninja don't play sports. Unless killing is a sport.
Ninja can crush golfballs with 2 fingers, any two fingers. Ninja have a bad temper when they lose at anything. They will usually cut

Ninja lie all the time. Even when the truth serves better, ninja will lie anyway.
Ninja swords are always straight with a square handle guard. Always. Curves are for girls.
