Feedback Social Group Changes

Just wanted to list the changes I get through to the social groups and if anyone wants to suggest something I can see if I can tweak and get it to work that way. >.o

Changes from the original 3.8 update

-Altered posts to look more like standard forums (still lacks actual postbit items & signatures)

-Modified the forum homepage so that social groups that users are a part of will show up below all other forums for easy access to see new posts.

-Added the quote function

-Changed the links so that they will go to the first unread post instead of just the thread.

Those are the changes that were tossed in. Ideas can be put in too. Please stick to ideas and constructive criticism (if any). This post isn't about whether or not you like them but rather have ideas tossed out there to see what SHOULD be added to them for them to become more user friendly.
 
I notice that I am not recieving notifications when a repy is made in a topic on the Social Group. Is there a way to do that? It would be nice to see some sort of notification.

Also is it possible to have the social group threads come up when you use the New Posts link? It would be great if that functioned like the old private forums, where it would add them to the new posts list if you had access to that particular group.

If not no biggie.

The same thing happens to me (and I'd assume every one), but I got around that by 'Subscribing' to the SG thread, and so far it's been working out fine for me.
 
Yes subscribing is your 'notification' system for all intensive purposes..

Miros.. all I ask, and it's because you're asking, it that you make the avatars look less like a PacMan intro screen. =)

I'll dig up what I can. Many vBulletin users aren't thrilled with the way Social Groups ended up and I believe they are working on a new version of them with more features.

Yeah without the sigs it looks alot cleaner!!!
