Hey..came back to FFXI after being away for a while. Wonder if any of you guys have soloed this successfully as BLU (or really, as any job). Soly my demon slayer before I quit and this seems like a quick fix weapon until I can get a Koggelmander..

I don't think it's solo-able but I heard you can low-man it.

soloable by rdm/nin with wlegs easy, a lot faster with 2 rdms of course
nm has enhanced speed have to pull it to 2 blocks below its spawn and let it run in and out and of course dont forget dots
TH is nice btw as sword isnt so great a drop rate 1/5

I was sure I could solo it on RDM..but well, I'd rather try it on BLU with Dissev kiting+maybe some other shenanigans. I don't need one anymore though..just decided to spring for a fragglerock and see if I can find folks to do MMM for sword there.

It CAN be solo'd by a BLU, albeit with high difficulty, with w.legs and a GOOD nuking set. Would need to use spells like Regurgitation and the like to nuke away at him since standard melee spells suck cuz of his high eva

I duo'd this BLM BLM
Soloed him last night. W.Legs+disseverment dot kiting was fine..Just blinked out of the casting animation and ran away as /nin.
Nice job, I solo'd it with Regurgitation spam. It's really easy with or without movement speed if you get a decent set based around it.
