=/ There's solo guides for all job on ffxi.allakhazam.com - I know, lolAlla and all that, but the blm guide I'm using is awesome. Just bring up the homepage, select Job Forums from the left, and then Black Mage. I use the top guide, but there's loads of them so take your pick

The lolalla bst guides were also excellent. There's people actually motivated to help people at most sites, so it's really irritating to me when I hear lolanything (aside from lolmelle!). hehe.

The reason people call alla or KI lolalla or lollKI is because of fucking retarded posts like these...we have them too though.

I know a lot of people have had issues with people from this linkshell camping over them in bird merit parties. For those of you who don't know, they come in and take over the middle camp and start sleeping as many mobs as possible. Usually five at a time. They have great DD setup and can swing through the birds in a matter of minutes. We were beating them to claims easily but they were killing much quicker. Is it to be said that people with average gear who don't have tons of merits already piled up must leave when a stronger pt comes that has tons of endgame gear?

Now I know some of you will say, "Well just kill the birds faster than them." or "Survivial of the fitest" , "Move to a new camp."... Comon, people. That's not the point. Even people you don't know in game, you should try to extend a certain amount of respect and honor. Members of this shell, lead by Lonemeow including Rialia and Brunokurt as well....have no respect for other players.

So in this case, what I did was call a GM to see if there was anything I could do. Of course not. GM's aren't good for much. I did, however, escalate the claim to a supervisor and after 30 minutes of stating my case that another pt shouldn't be able to sleep multiple mobs to hold for xp, he did give all members of my pt two free months of service, which was kinda cool.

My in game name is Carbon. What I would like to know is how many people would be interested in forming a seperate LS to "Farm Colibri Feathers" when this LS or group comes in and takes over someone's party, as they did mine tonight. I know it sounds kinda corny. Reminds me of the South Park episode about WoW(if you haven't seen it, youtube it. It hella funny!). Anywho, please PM me here or in game if your interested. I'm not doing this out of revenge but more out of justice of sorts. GM's do nothing about it so this is what I came up with instead. Thanks for taking time to read my rant everyone

Thanks =p, but I agree that they can be helpful sources of information just the problem is that there are so many people on there who have a high status and literally don't know what the fuck they are talking about half the time and when newer players read that site and see those people posting retarded information they think that's correct and they start to believe that.

This is the guide i used when i soloed up blm. It worked out really well for me and even included some camps that some of my other blm friends that were already 75 didn't know about. Weather or not that's still true is a toss up.

I actually find soloing a hell of a lot more fun then partying because you can go all out but I would probably party till 51 then solo to around 60ish since at that time you 1 shot all the pets and get good exp and then at 60ish I think you should start soloing / looking for partys.

I agree entirely 100% with Auron's statement. Soloing 51-60 was easy; the camps at that time are fairly safe (especially Gustav Tunnel and Pso'Xja), the exp is greater than most parties you can get at this time, and the only downside is competition for camps (Pso'Xja especially).

You can also solo until you cap your elemental magic (if it isn't already), and then campaign the rest of the way. I still do it, and then I just go to sea and cap enfeebling there if necessary.

I mainly ask because with the newer updates it almost seems like soloing pets is obsolete. For example I'm slowly levelling up sch in my spare time (my only job below 37 :/) and right now I'm just melee soloing with it. I'm fighting EPs that die in 3-4 melee hits and give me like 40 xp. It almost seems like it'd be easier to just solo EPs with my xp flag up and "{Level sync} ok" in my seacom.

Just do what most do and that is solo while seeking party because I'm pretty sure you can get 6-8k/hour from 51-60 soloing camps.

I soloed xp on RDM up until Colibri. (50s) It's totally doable Rappa, and I would recommend soloing while you have your flag up.

Find a BLM buddy and duo pets, me and Timwakefield do that and its retardedly easy XP. As of now were in the qufim/jungles stage of our levels so you know the solo/duo is better then those 2 places.

this is the statement i agree with. and with the arrival of level sync this is even easier. i'm working on my own BLM right now (49) and i'm always up for a duo when i'm not doing events.
