Solution to Gilsellers

lol looks like I'm not the only one who notices these types of gilsellers.
Especially those like basdfg, who's always making shihei. Had a lil chat with this guy lol. Talked to him once then 3 hrs later. Noticed it wasn't the same guy lol so yeah these guys takes shifts making shihei. One spoke Chinese and the other knew a lil english.

I always walk by him and ask him " So who's shift is it now Fen yengs or Zhao zhong " lmfao :lol:

But yeah Osse you're on to something , and I bet you're not that far off from the truth. I also think they operate the same way you've described them.
 
So let's pick a different seller for every day of the week. I say go with 1 gil. Don't waste rock salt. I can actually use that shit :P The cheapest non-stackable thing I can think of would have to be shell shields or.... arrowwood log? But those would take too much effort. Would still be funny as hell to send a gilseller 1600 shell shields...

But that'd be donating close to 160k. But it'd take him hours and hours and hours to get rid of all of them.
 
Also if we wanted to do the Rare item we could only hold one at a time and we could have to mail one buy one mail one buy one and so on. Would take alot more time and cost alot more money. (event tho its still a trivial amount). Also if they dont want to make a profit on the Rare item they can just drop straight from the Delivery box and never have to drop it out of their items. So that idea is a bit flawed.

I am interested in seeing the development of the list of possible 5 sellers to target whos gonna throw that up here?
 
Let's all pick a day to start this too. I think an organized attack would be best. So, we need 5-7 sellers and a day to start. The day before, I'll be in palborough mines farming up all sorts of cheap unstackable crap to send. My mule is gonna tear these guys a new asshole :lol: I might even make a spamming mule for the hell of it.
 
I'd recommend not sending them shell shields. Those can be desynthed into femurs and turtle shells with bonecrafting. You'd be sending them a potential 1-2K gil with each shield.
 
While funny, this idea most likley will not result in any noticable improvement.


A Few Ideas.


DDoS freaking IGE If you can't buy the gill......

Square sets up dummy accounts to buy small amounts of gill from IGE, tracks who sent them gill, who sends the banker gill who does what, boom in one stroke you knock out one gillseller (terorist) cell. Lather, rinse, repeat. Hell I'll do it, give me the ability to see the logs I'll spend my own money to buy the 1k gill and send all there names to the damned SE gestapo.

Pick one seller that actually sells on AH according to recent history. It is quite obvious when 7/10 of the last amemet skins were sold by 1 person who the target should be. (once again did not look talking hypothetically).
you go after the seller of the groups not the campers necessarily.

And any time that gets wasted no matter if it is the camper or the seller will lower their productivity and maybe make it so the game is no longer a feasable form of profit.

My theory is you cant stop the buyers and you cant stop the sellers so y not annoy the sellers to the point of wanting to quit.

Also if we make it harder for gilsellers to make money the amount of money that they have will decrease. Causing them to jack up the RL prices to cover their expences and therefore lower the demand from the people that are like. Well its only 16.99 for 1 mil gil and i want this y not. Back when the game first came out it was like 200 for 1mil gil and if we could return to these prices the demand for gil will lower dramatically.

Once again just my 2 cents.

And dont forget mules are people too. lol

If gil costs 16.99 for 1 mil giving them 1600 gil and wasting 1hr and 40 minutes would give them a profit of less than 3 cents US for almost 2hrs work. That is poor by any standards. And that 3 cents is if they were selling it directly instead of through IGE where they sell it to IGE at like 8 dollars and IGE resells it at like 16. God i love math when it gives figures like this.

Also outta curiosity would this in any way violate the players agreement for malicious attack on another player?

I'll send them a rusty bucket! Yay! To do this though, we have to be sure that a certain person is a gil seller and we all have to decide on one person, but then what if that person decides to get all his gil seller friends to do the same to some of those who did that to him. They'd be laughing back because they already have a lot of gil and it'd take longer for those without as much gil to make any and it might just cause a war like that between gil sellers and non-gil sellers.
