I've got nothing really to put behind this, so I can't call it a flame, weak at best.

If you're the type to shrug off incidents b/c they're Dunes/Qufim/Jungle, pass now and find another thread to read.

Got an invite from Azrail NIN to xp my SAM, with other party members being Callmemike MNK, Trixibelle MNK, Avilus WHM and Nalc SAM.

In the mix somewhere when we finally gather at camp, leader gets bounced between Azrail of Liquiddarkness and Avilus of Revolution and subsequently one of them removes the Elvaan MNK Callmemike from UnknownSoldiers.

I'm not sure if this guy is a bad player with a bad rep, but no one offered up a good reason why he was booted.

Enter the BRD Palasin from the flock. Think I've got it down why they booted the other MNK, we've got a BRD! ;o

Anyway I didn't support the idea, but they got some aggro from a Gob and threw up my sword for those who weren't jerks about it, died.

On my way to a new party now with Trixi from AG, and I just wanted to call the people who had leader bounced back and forth out for being punks who just make a full party and rep people out of the blue dirty style without a good reason.

To me, this isn't flameboard material, just more calling out Azrail and Avilus out on one of them being a punk and not owning up to it and the BRD for seemingly really not giving two shits about someone being done dirty like that, especially being in what I saw as one of the more upstanding LS'es on Quetz.

I suppose xp means more to some people than partying with a group of cool cats and just good people in general.

It doesn't to me.

Edit: On another note, in case I didn't make it clear, the party didn't start and we didn't have a chance to see if the MNK was shitty and should've been asked to leave... Just kinda booted him while we were waiting for the WHM to get there and start the pt.

x2: Spelling, I hate being called out on bad spelling.

Someone from TheFlock is involved. INSTA-FLAME!!! j/k

More than likely, Palasin didn't even know that someone was booted from the party to get him in. I highly doubt that's reason to flame him.

Now as for the party leader, yeah, he deserves to get flamed 100%.

Lmao na.

I've got respect for Dejan and think what he's done with the BST SMN thing is hella cool and respect for his members and any player who hasn't given me a reason to disrespect them.

But aside one or two people, I can't think of one guy in his LS who'd do this or let this be done and just deal with it, people I've come across from you guys have been all class, so this was awkward for me.

It was made clear the MNK was kicked for him.

Like I said, not flaming him, but I think it's cold brudda.

If he tells me otherwise, I'll back off and say maybe I was wrong about him. But it was made Crystal Clear that the Monk was kicked for him and he just said something along the lines of leave it and xp.

Edit: Spelling, accidently made Monk, Moink. ;O FIXED!

FYI I edited my post, {Please check it.}

Did anyone talk to the MNK? Was it explicitly stated that he was booted to get a different job? It's entirely possible he suddenly had to go or something and just sent a tell to the leader of the party saying he had to leave and just left rather than get booted. Or maybe he was "booted" because he said he had to go soon or something so the pt leader just went ahead and did it? I dunno, needs more info.

No, the MNK had plenty of free time, I made the inquiry after he was kicked what kind of time he had, and checked his gear outta curiosity which wasn't anything bad for the level or job. The MNK asked why he was booted and got no answer, so I inquired to the party on his behalf with no response.

He was there to XP for the long haul, but kinda just miffed now and went off to do something else off FFXI.

I'm not gonna call someone out here for kicking someone who was just going to leave soon, unless the guy lied to me and then played like he got kicked for no reason and I'm sitting here twiddlin' my thumbs.

I just prefer not to xp with people who'd do that, and figured I'd post something for people who share the sentiment. Not trying to flame, because like I said, this would be a very weak one at best. This is more just a head's up or me venting cause I find it hard to believe that people pull this crap, because I'd hate to be on the end of that kind of party invite...

Made clear to you? Or to Palasin?

The entire party.

Edit: Love to give you a SS of it being put bluntly that the MNK was kicked for the BRD, since you seem so doubtful, but I'm a 360 player. ;p

Not doubting you. I always give the benefit of the doubt, especially if it's a fellow LS member, Palasin in this instance.

But yeah, based on what you've said so far, it's pretty cold. But the person to REALLY flame is the party leader. I think all Palasin did was accept a party invite. (I would have done the same thing) Now as far as deciding to ditch once it was learned someone else was booted for him was totally his call, but regardless, it sholdn't be so much a flame on Palasin (he didn't do anything majorly wrong) but a flame on the party leader. I agree 100% what the party leader did was wrong.

Hah, I remember Palasin. That boob.

Not flaming him, just indicating that I disapprove of finding out someone was booted for you for no good reason and staying. Maybe some of you find this acceptable, and that's cool man. I don't.

I'm not calling him a bitch or anything for staying, maybe the whole /p chat went over him and he just wanted to get on with things and make xp, not my style.

Apologies if you think I'm trying to shift more of the blame to him than the party leaders, but I just felt more of a disappointment because I hold you guys in high regard.

Edit: Sivi, if he's gonna say that he didn't know or w/e, I'm not gonna sit here and say he did, but what I'm saying is after was all said and done, those leaders are jerks and the BRD didn't seem to care that the MNK got stiffed for him.

Erm yea, that sucks but i don't think it's uncommon nowadays. I have heard couple same instances from couple friends etcetc.

Lol nah, I don't have it in me to flame these guys for someone else.

Just figured a heads up would suit well enough and also going off a venting a bit that people still do people dirty like this...

Fact that people would do this to someone so unsuspecting bothers me. Guy came back later I noticed on one of my pulls and was PLing another pt.

nah I was invited by a NIN named Azail, I dunno never seen him, and then soon after I joined he gave leader to Avitus, when I showed up this guy named Callmemike started cussing us out and what not. The NIN didn't speak very good english from what i could tell, and he asked me If i needed a Party and didn't invite me right away. But I am positive that I was invited by azail so i dont think Avitus kicked the MNK.

Anyway, this dude came back and tried to take our mobs by cure spaming with blaze spikes on. Which in turn only ended up helping us as he never stole a mob.

Idk where you stood as far as continuing the pt, but my apologies if Siv or you think I was trying to peg you as the ass that booted the poor kid.

That's a tough situation; do you not invite the bard who's looking for a party, and plow ahead with the monk? You haven't even started the party, so no one's really sunk a lot of time into this venture yet...

Do you ask the monk if he minds being replaced by a bard for the good of the party? That puts a lot of pressure on the monk...

Do you ask the bard to stick around just to see if the party can work without him?

Or do you hot swap out a less desirable job for a more desirable job on the spot?

Not a lot of good choices.

The real idiot in this story is the unintentional blaze spikes pl'er. That's the funniest thing I read all day :p

Yah, Mike's one of our immigrants from another server. He's been a decent enough sort in the social sense, and I doubt he's been here long enough to establish a rep either good or bad.

He was, in my opinion at least, justifiably pissed for being kicked for no good reason, and I got to hear a bit of his displeasure firsthand.

I don't know what this thread is about, but the OP has a K' avatar, so I am sure it is good.
