And how exactly can you tell the difference. Any claim that person has ever made is in question. How do we know that the people on the list with a high level craft didn't craft their way to all that money? If we're just gonna believe people on their word, like your statement, why even look at the list at all?

Yes, its impossible to tell if they have done worse than what they claim, which is exactly why I agree with most of us in here when we do the whole hellfire and brimstone approach.

And yeah, I know people wont aggre with me on the gil thing, was using it as a metaphor. Not claiming innocence but pointing out how there are different levels of severity when it comes to "cheating" in this game

The same applies, to an extent mind you, to this. Those who use it for the translater or even to skillup magic in my eyes is not a big deal what so ever. Im sure many many of you have thought, "I wish I could make a script to do /ma "paralyze", wait 10, repeat", but just never acted on it. These are the people who did act on it.

However, those who used it to claim NM, fish bot, or craft bot should be in trouble and given a proper discipline.

Having bought gil a long time ago back when people were fairly ignorant of the problems RMT causes for the game itself, and not having done it recently, isn't anything I think is particularly worth criticizing. Slap on the wrist for being lazy/impatient and not valuing your RL money too highly four years ago, move on with your life.

As for magic skillups, honestly the only ones worth complaining about (and thus worth even considering botting) were healing, enhancing, and summoning. And with the advent of Besieged (protip: you get skillups at offensive magic rates, by buffing Besieged NPCs) and the ability to get summoning skillups from blood pacts, none of them are worth botting these days in the first place.

Enfeebling has always been stupidly easy. Cast Dia 1 on every exp mob. With sea access, you can also find a friendly hpemde and cycle through non-damaging debuffs (bind, slow, sleep, paralyze, gravity, blind, may be forgetting some...) to your heart's content without getting smacked in the face for it.

You can also do flash for divine skillups.
 
Dispel is great for enfeebling, because it has a fairly short recast, and all those other spells can't give skill ups if they are already on the mob and haven't worn off yet.
 
Nope. Zaus may be an idiot but cactrot does move at a faster speed than THF flee.
I tried to outrun it myself a few times.

Um...i was able to spam Dia multiple times to get skill ups on my WHM for Enfeeb.
