some webdevs plain suck

This is what the Winamp home page looks like on my screen using default text size (1:1 screenshot, not altered in any way other than cropped). Winamp isn't the only page that displays "micro-text".

If you are a web dev, please or the love of whatever it is you believe in, just say NO to micro text.

But that's what winamp skinning is all about man! The harder it is to read the pixel fonts, the better. Plus you have to add in random crap like bolts and dividing lines to the skin to make it look more badass.

It's fine for skins, all I ever use is the play button anyway, but ffs, make the web page readable so that I can download those skins!

Is that set to medium on your browser? Mine looks ok, not sure though......

[Sculli]

I am using 'smaller' setting in IE, which is what it was set to when I installed WinXP.

Not entirely sure but isn't medium default? That might explain your problem. Almost all the computers I've worked on is set to medium. Makes sense since the others are labeled larger and smaller instead of point sizes.

Strangely enough... I've had my text size setting change on me involuntarily, though I do agree.. if you're gonna put up a site.. make it readable.
