His Rdm is 6 pssh....its worthless to me, regardless of gear but I'm a die hard Rdm/smn/bst fan and hes Galka? Oh hell no(no offense...)

There are people Who have 15+ level 75 jobs. Yeah that account doesn't impress upon me as one that "beat the game". Nice stuff, but far far far from beating FFXI.

Beat the game? Eh, hardly.

I follow this criteria for "beating the game":

All jobs level 75 (full merits)
At least one relic weapon for your main job.
All missions for all expansions completed.
All quests for all nations completed.
The best AF for your main job.
You have all the spells for all your jobs.
Rank 10 for every nation.
All avatars.

I dont really feel Items are part of completing the game (Except AF and Relic).

Tyraths got a point. Its an MMORPG. You cant exactly "beat" it.

Diablo II you could beat, but you would exit the world each time.
 
lol, I wonder if when you beat the Far East expansion, you get the credit roll. XD

Why would I be jelous? :P I'm only missing 4 pieces of gear I want for my RDM, and that's Altruistic Cape, Crimson Scale Mail, Duelist's Chapeau and Dalmatica, and 3 of those he don't have :P

True that, but you can always pretend that when someone have done everything possible in the entire game, you'll get the black screen and everyone on the server will get ending credits.

Sadly, I don't think its possible to do :P

Know what would really suck? If it was like the matrix, and when someone beat it, everyone's screen went blank, credits rolled, then everyone started over again at lvl 1. with the basic jobs, and EVERYTHING would reset. XD
 
I just never saw the point in playing this game if you plan on quiting, now I can understand most other games where you pretty much have nothing else to do. But this game is ever changing and has so many different things that can be done. Personally if I was that high of a lvl and had all that gear, I would try to do some positive stuff with it travel the lands helping people I come across. IDK maybe its just me I think it would be nice to one day be a ledgen on this game.
