Why the HELL does Genkai 2 require you to kill mobs that you need at least a 12-member 55+ or a 75 party to have any chance, while Genkai 4 has you looking for people (in TOWNS no less) to trade Kindred seals to? That is such BS. Those two quests need to be swapped (although I know that will never happen)

Anyway, I'm typing this due to my death in Xarcabard while trying to get picked up for a G2 party. Found some JP guys fighting the Boreal Tiger, they killed it right as I got to the area. Figured I'd grab the ??? since I didn't have time to ask them for an invite before respawn, didn't make it. Tiger respawned, killed my jug pet before I could logout, then proceeded to pull me in Firaga 2 my ass into ash.

G2 can kiss my ass. Hopefully another group will go soon.

For g2, just get other people who need it to join in. Can build up quick if you wait long enough. But g2 is one of the hardest yes. Goodluck^^.

I much much much prefer G2 to G1. G1 was just a stupid asshole quest where you had to get item drops that just dropped an unnecessarily low amount. There's really nothing fun or interesting about it.

G2 on the other hand is more like what I think a quest to "raise the limits" of a character should be like. It's a long journey into a territory that you most likely have never been into for any length of time. You trek into this vast land of snow to seek out legendary monsters with a mob of other nervous people and slay them to prove you are worthy.

G2 was all kinds of fun. I've done it two times already with various friends and statics and such. It really introduces you to things that you'll use as you reach for 75 (when have you really been in an alliance for something prior to G2?). The mobs are challenging enough to be hard but not impossible to kill with an alliance of <55 people. This is truly the coolest of all the Genkais, with the possible exception of killing that bastard Maat (I wouldn't know as I haven't gotten there yet  ) Sure it's hard to coordinate an alliance for this, but it's worthwhile.

Any event that requires more then 6 people becomes hard due to the "human" factor. Aka the complaints of, "whos Maat, where is he, I don't have my crystal, my toes are cold, its bedtime, I just got an AF invite, etc"

Well I went with a full alliance...thank gawd that my party was my static and completely compitent.

The thing about G2 is no one brings oils or powders and they COMPLETELY rely on mages which is IMO is BULLSHIT...sneak/invis is sooo random that you cast on them and then on you and then they say sneak is wearing!

G2 was fun although my rdm was "choking on his own rage" because of stupid people.

Anyway...if you stand in Jeuno and shout for G2 parties...there are ALWAYS people that need them, and you can build an alliance pretty fast...but I do agree with Direwolf...someone always doesn't have the crystal or has to go or whatever....you just have to be as patient as possible.

>.> You don't really need a full party of 75's to complete it. I can solo it at 74 =/ takes maybe 20 min or so for each NM, but it's relatively east.

Send me a tell and I can maybe do it for you if I have time.

Honestly gotta agree with you Rappa. JUst irritated me yesterday that I couldn't find a group and got killed. -_- Still though, the fact that G3 can be soloed if you're patient, and G4 and G5 are basically reqired to be soloed irks me a bit lol.
