Trying something new, with a music theme.~ Opinions? ^.^;

I like the feel it has, almost like an oil painting :D

His Face bugs me.. its a real low quality photo.. and i couldnt get rid of the blurry/fuzziness as much as I wanted to.. so i hid it lol as best i could..

But thanks Eili :)

Yu tell me how 2 do yes? $0.05 no?

Lol, I really like these. The first one I could see being an album cover, and I don't know if that is good or bad in all honesty. I really love abstract, but sometimes album covers... you just wonder how the hell they became the album cover.

The first one is too abstract on the edges, and not enough around/inside the kid. You could mess with breaking the kid out of the abstract background maybe? A sharp delineation, or some 3D effect to make him stand out clearly. I like the second one a lot because it does seem to have that flow to it.

Just my $0.02

Originally, with the kid and the turntables, I wanted him to stand out more then the rest of the pic. Unfortunately, the quality of the pic was so low any distortions or alterations just made him go further outta focus. So I did what I coudl to have him sorta blend into the BG.

The Jason Mraz one, imo came out at least 100 times better. But it's als a professional photo. So cutting him ot and playing with just certain parts of the picture was MUCH easier.

DnB took me about 6 1/2 hours.

Jason only took 4.

Thanks for the Input though Arcy <3

Yea, you definitely did awesome sharpening the kid. No doubt I like how you removed the 'fuzzy.' I think it would be cool to see if you did the same thing to the original picture (the sharpening). Cut out the kid, and overlay it to the abstract pic.

Then, as if the kid was printed on glass or something, break it. (Not seperated break, just show the shatter cracks). That would keep the abstract, subtract from the effect of low quality pic, and just be awesome!

That is such a sick idea, man~ I'm totally gna try and redo that one and do some of this stuff!! :D You Rawk~
And actually its' not an abstract background, its the background he was in, in the main pic, i just seperated him from it then added effects and abstract brushes

With jason I took a seperate route, and decided to use C4D's instead and different brushes to give it a different feel. :)

I agree, since the kids on a table, maybe have something like bouncing off the turners like a big beat or something... If you get what I'm saying.

Imma play wiff it some more today while at work/home. :)

That's what she said O.O

Anyways, that second one looks pretty cool. The first one like you said had crappy quality to begin with, but you ended up sharpening it up and I like it.

Thanks :) I think the second one turned out much better, but it was also a professional photograph... much easier to work with.

My Next dilema: Deciding on a name for the series of pictures XD

Any ideas, guys?

Try something with those Arashi desktops maybe?

Yea, but I really can't wait to see that glass effect if you plan to do it ^_^; I don't know how you can, or if you can, but I would love to see it =D
