Maybe its late, and maybe it because I have had nothing but problems whilst playing recently but I got really wound up tonight by this...
After slicing off a few TAU missions, I found myself having to deliver something to Halver in Sandy. Anyway when I was there with Halver, I had one of my hunches/feelings.
I entered -Oubliette. With no map. Problems, problems. I kept disconnecting. Oh well, Kam fixed it for a bit and I wandered around trying to find my way to Syrup from memory.
After a few disconnections, I finally made it to the end. Where I started killing off Mousse. To be exact, I killed two. Just one in the tunnel and the other where Syrup appears.
I healed up to get my mana back. Sewer Syrup spawns. I only had 50% MP and I could hear people battling out in the tunnel across the way. Needless to say, I panicked and just thought, "What the hell!"... So I quickly buffed myself up nicely and started on him.
Fight went on for about fifteen minutes really well until.......... R0!.. &*$&^%&#!?!?! I needed to convert for mana. I don't know how long I was out for but must have been about 20 seconds and I didn't disconnect. I converted but then caught aggro from one of the Haunts. Not too bad. I slept it. Was hassle and waste of MP but, I had the NM now so there was little else I could do about it for now.
Still beating away at syrup. With his HP down to 5%, the hallway Mousse heard me and now I had three things to manage. Next, just as I was putting the Mousse and Haunt to sleep whilst hitting away at Syrup,
A second Haunt. Cast. Flood. Down goes my skin, Mousse wakes up from sleep, starts chipping away at me with Syrup. I'm in a desperate frenzy shadowing myself for skin. Skin up. Sleep wears off Haunt. Bugger! Bash Bash Bash. Down skin. My HP is being sucked out. With no MP to even cure skin up...
I thought, **** it. Shall I warp? No choice. K.O.
Shall I return? I hear a Curaga III go off... /sigh /cry
It'll be dead by then.
*Kea warps to Homepoint.
/fists Square Enix
SORT IT OUT!!!
Call me a softy but I felt like crying. Instead I threw a tantrum. Wrote this post and went to bed to sleep it off.
