Slightly more on-topic, i can't really see a reason why MS would do the. The Playstation Eye, is massively more popular than the live vision camera. I think on a full friends list of mine, only 3 people had it, and that's because they got it for free in some contest.

But that view would make far too much sense for MS to use. They will probably steal it, and then it will crash during their demo of it.

Except for the fact that the Eyetoy has been out for years, and could do motion tracking all along.

motion tracking yeah, but not facial recognition. This is about the camera being able to tell which way your eyes are pointing, and if you're smiling or not.

Yeah. And if you look at the images and video, the program demoed looks pretty much exactly like the test one the youtube guy developed for Wii. They also used infrared before they went on with face recognition.

With facial recognition, it'd be different from Nintendo's version, and I suppose they wouldn't have to sue them then. It would be so much more fun if Sony got to sue someone once though.
