Baja's fanboism continues! :D :P

just kidding, it is funny XD

People also have faith in the second coming of Jesus.

Just sayin'.

Personally, I see Microsoft taking it this round. They're doing some crazy stuff over there in Japan-o-land to hook consumers. Plus they had the "First-Out-The-Door" advantage Sony had last time, and the time before that.

You know you want to !

Sony's gonna have tons of content you want. Maybe you already see thing's you want of it already. And if you personally don't want it. You know it's still gonna have the flag ships of the Metal Gear series as well as the Final Fantasy series and a list of other games that have been ruling lately.

I don't put down the Wii in this matter, and the 360 really dosn't stand much of a chance. How long Will the Wii entertain us with their neat controller ? When all the big whoop is over with the Wii controller, it's gonna be just another console. A Controller won't make the game. The build in emulation of what we played in the past won't match the latest games on all 3 consols either.

The PS3 will eventually get cheaper, and by then it will have a a bunch of games you were born to play.

Price is dissapointing to most of you for the PS3. That is no reason to dislike the system and the games. I'm sure if the average person drove a Lambourgini they'd smile everytime they relive that moment. $600.00 really isn't that much money for what the PS3 is as a computer of that calibur. And it does have people waiting eagerly for it.

Nothing to do with console wars, just follow you're true feeling towards the PlayStation 3, beyond price, and not flock with the mass amount of cry babies "Oh they won't outsell, and we want Wii cause Wii is cheaper".

It will sell, and it will stay with us for it's 5 year minimal life span. And i'm sure everyone will be able to afford one somewhere along the lines, and enjoy the titles they missed for cheaper. No need to hold a grudge against Sony.

Prices will go down on ps3 huh? Is that like how prices have dropped on a psp? I've seen any drop in them.(I've not checked psp prices in a long time but sony said they have NO plans to lower pricing) Considering sony and thier current policy of no more pricecuts for any gaming systems I'd say the $600+ pricetag is here to stay for a while.

I'm sure sony could actually pull through this fine.. they do have lots of money like microsoft does too (after all they've been selling electronics for decades now) but Microsoft did have the advantage Skaw mentioned and Nintendo has price advantage, Sony's advantages are getting slim x.x

I'm not all that sure about the "PS3 will still have the best games," there's already reports and rumors about companies either wanting out of their contracts with sony to work on the Wii or them wanting to port their games over to 360. Hell, even the leader of the Gears of War team has said that he'd rather work on the Wii than PS3. While yes, people are still going to buy the PS3, there won't be enough. As a gaming company, which would you want to do: spend 20 mil making a game for 500,000 users, or spend 10 mil making a game for 4 million? This is the exact same situation in reverse that drove all of the companies to make games for Sony instead of Nintendo; so just saying they'll automatically have the best games automatically is pretty groundless.

Cost isn't the sole reason why I want a Wii over a PS3, although it's the main factor in which I buy first, the controller is the main reason why I want a Wii. Given how energized the game developers are about developing games to use the wiimote, I highly doubt that everyone will just lose interest in a few months. Given that the controller is the main feature of the console, it's hard to imagine that it will turn into "just another console." PS3's motion sensing is a gimick, the Wiimote is a marketing strategy; and given that I have yet to hear anything negative about the Wii at all(baring sony/xbox fanboys), it seems like a very effective one.

PS3 offers graphics, amazingly beautiful graphics, but that's all it offers. Games aren't a guarantee at this point other than the ones already announced, and a lot of those companies are talking about ports to 360. If the companies abandon the PS3, as past console wars have shown it happen, PS3's chances don't look good.

If the PS3 goes down in price, you won't see it for at least a year; by which time you'll be enjoying your 360 or Wii so much that you'll be even less likely to shell out hundreds more for another console to play mostly the same games. PS3's options for winning the market are running out fast.
