This is not entirely true. Please don't take offense to this, I don't know your situation and I am just making a general statement. All end game shells continually recruiting. The problem with end game is that they are in a constant state of turnover whether it be from members quitting end game, moving to other shells/servers, or quitting the game entirely, they will always need new members to replace those who have left. Primarily, the only points in time in which they will not recruit is when first starting out with a full roster or when they are at the end of their run. "We're not recruiting" is the equivalent of "I'm not looking for a relationship right now" line meant to spare the rejectee's feelings and avoid problems for the rejector.

In reality, if you're looking for a good end game shell, the best option is to check with friends. Tell them straight out you're interested and if they can do something for you. Good people with good intentions should never have trouble finding an end game shell. Server hopping should only be a last resort.

I agree with you Lavi. I was bit hasty by suggesting that they don't recruit. It can just be limited sometimes for some people. Even skilled players with good intentions can have their troubles.

ignorant= something a person is not aware of and has no knowledge of and/or in a situation that cannot be helped, possible to refer to status, action, etc.

stupidity= something a person is aware of and has knowledge but does,ignores,etc. it anyways and it is considered wrong

just to clarify, as both sides misused that word wrong, as people are ignorant of something...using it as derogatory doesn't really mean anything

only the obvious flaw of humans in general

Well since he didn't get around to post it last night... I guess I will post it myself and if you guys want to know more please PM and I will give you his in game name, but what he told me was is that this guy isn't the real steak on Shiva. The real Steak was a Mithra Warrior. He also POL messaged some of his friends back on Shiva and they said that the real Steak still plays. I did run a ffxiah search on the player name Steak on Shiva and it came up w/ results from a day ago. So it is looking like this guy isn't who is saying he is and that he is trying to hide something.

It would be *much* more interesting, however, to see the real Steak (from the Shiva server) be directed here, step up and verify these claims, if such action would make any difference.



If this person on Quetz recruiting for Exiled is Steak, then my opinion remains unchanged, and I feel he/she should be given his opportunity.

If it isn't and is some douche posing as someone else, then yes -- they have done a great disservice to themselves, their proposed Shell, and their entire gaming experience on Quetzalcoatl.

Shiva, original server. Was on it for many years. Left Fate, and went to Ramuh on recommendation, however I didn't get into the only EU ls on the server due to them being full. When I was about to move, I went to midgard where I'm currently very unhappy with the linkshell I'm in. I want to be with my friends again, but I refuse to go back to Shiva.

Taken less than one minute ago. You don't need the real steak to come in to our boards which he has no part in...if you're so concerned it isn't the real steak, stop looking over the proof in front of your eyes, logon to BG, and ask about Steak. I'm tired of bringing proof to the table only to have the .0001% chance that I'm wrong be the reason you stay completely optomistic.

This isn't the American Judicial system, he doesn't have to remain innocent until proven guilty beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt.

HE needs to provide proof. Not the steak on shiva.

Apologies for double-posting, but I'm not suggesting that this is anything like the American Judicial System. I stated a personal opinion, which is not reflected by public opinion, which is what our Judicial system is based on.

I did a friend search on POL. The result of:
Name: Steak
Server: Shiva

It came up w/ one result and I viewed his/her profile and he/she is a Mithra.

Forgive me if I am a little hesitant to believe random accusations from less than reliable sources, but server transfers started well over a year ago. That's well more than enough time for another person to start a new character with that same name and get 75 on one job or more. In fact, it's even possible that another person name Steak moved from one server to Shiva during his absense. Plus, why would he use less than favorable stories to make up if it's just a lie?

I'm sure I am missing something, but could someone please enlighten us (read: me) about what's on BG, I don't entirely have access there.
 
I am curious, perhaps I missed it, but did Steak say something along the lines of: "Hey I started life out on Shiva my name was Steak" or was it more "I originally started out on Shiva." [After 3~ server transfers, it is entirely within the realms of possibility that he had to/chose to change name].

Just to note, I am not defending anything here. But if you're going to claim there's proof of something, please actually provide the proof. I have yet to see the post where he said he was called Steak on Shiva server.
